Square Enix is giving us another CG feature film for Final Fantasy entitled Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV. Song Pictures has picked the property up for a North American release and will show it in select theaters August 19 before it becomes available for home viewing. The J-Pop group Perfume gets animated in a commercial for Mercedes-Benz’ new A-Class Sport Compact. Yoshiyuki Sadamoto designed the CG Animation featuring Perfume and the animated group dances and sings a song penned by their producer Yasutaka Nakata. Here is the next Appleseed title to add to your anime collection. Appleseed Alpha is the latest CG animated film for the title that Masamune Shirow created. Sega has released information that next Autumn Cartoon Network will debut Sonic Boom. Sonic the Hedgehog has had an animated series before, but this time it will be a CG animated series. So all you Sonic fans, I know it’s early, but mark your 2014 calendars.
Cinema Today, a Japanese film site gave everyone a sneak peek at the upcoming Space Pirate Captain Harlock CG Film. The film is scheduled to open in Japan on September 7. Thanks to the “cinematoday” channel on YouTube for making this available, check it out:
