We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.
If nothing else CAPCOM knows how to set the mood with this trailer for Resident Evil 7. It’s not just the trailer, but the song that is being sung during the trailer that makes it a little disturbing. Anyway Resident Evil fans are sure to latch on to this and several other gamers. Here is something you probably didn’t think you would ever see. AnimeNews Network reports that CAPCOM recently announced Musical Biohazard: Voice of Gaia. The company has tapped Reon Yuzuki (pictured above) to be the lead in the musical, that will feature elements of ballet and action. The first run of the musical will be at Tokyo’s Akasaka ACT Theater from September 30 to October 12.
For you Resident Evil fans…CAPCOM has remastered Resident Evil and have entitled it Resident Evil 0. This is scheduled for a January 19 release date (tomorrow). Thanks to the Resident Evil YouTube channel for the trailer:

Lenny and Richard go back to school to Marhawa Academy. Among the subjects taught Lenny and Richard enjoy the bioengineering course sponsored by the Umbrella Corporation. During this course they discover the horror of Naoki Serizawa and CAPCOM’s manga Resident Evil: The Marhawa Desire.

This summer Universal Studios Japan is going for the first horror survival attraction in an amusement park with a Resident Evil attraction. What a blend horror and amusement. Anyway, the attraction will be called “Biohazard The Real”. The people going through the attraction will have a model gun to use against the zombies and one of the characters to take out will be a 6 1/2 foot tall Tyrant, made by Shinichi Wakasa. This sounds so cool, but I don’t think we will be getting anything like this in the U.S.
The sequel to CAPCOM and Sony’s Resident Evil: Degeneration trailer was shown at SDCC. Resident Evil: Damnation is forth coming. This Resident Evil is probably in your library’s video gaming collection. It is one of the more popular gaming franchises and CAPCOM is releasing Resident Evil 6 this Fall. The release was planned for November, but CAPCOM is planning on releasing the title now during October. The release will be for the PlayStation 3 and X-Box 360. If all goes according to plan the release dates will be, for the North American and European market October 2 and in Japan on October 4. Thanks to AnimeNews Network for the following teaser trailer:
AnimeNews Network is reporting that starting with the February issue of Weekly Shonen Champion Magazine Serizawa’s Biohazard Marhawa Desire manga will begin serialization. This title has ties to CAPCOM’s Biohazard/Resident Evil games. Since this is related to Resident Evil and there being several fans of this franchise in the Western market, this should be a shoe-in for be translated for the English speaking audience. Late next year or in 2013 I wouldn’t be surprised to see this being offered to purchase for your library’s partons and the your library itself.
