Next DC Animated Movie
ICv2 reports that the next, direct to DVD, animated movie coming from DC Comics and Warner Animation will be an adaptation of Frank Miller’s Batman: Year One. Watch the promo video for this new movie below.

Batman Rises
ICv2 is reporting that Warner Bros. is stating that Batman: Dark Knight Rises has begun principal photography. The article also mentions that this film will be filmed using cameras for IMAX theaters, will the filming be for the whole movie though? If it is then it will be the first movie to be filmed completely with IMAX equipment, but it doesn’t sound like this will happen yet. Planned release date is currently for July 20, 2012.
Justice League Movie
DC’s site, linked below, is reporting that Warner Bros. President Jeff Robinov stated that a new script is in the works for a Justice League movie, hoping to get it to the onscreen in 2013. He also stated that after Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Rises, Warner Bros. is planning to “reinvent” the Batman franchise.
The Man of Steel
ICv2’s site is reporting that the new Superman movie will possibly be subtitled Man of Steel. Zack Synder is supposedly taking a que from Christopher Nolan, and Nolan’s reboot of the Batman franchise. This Superman movie will be a reboot that will go with the concept that there were no previous Superman movies. It will be a fresh start for this franchise just as Batman Begins was a fresh start for the Batman franchise. Follow the link below for the full article.

ICv2’s site is reporting that Marion Cotillard is in talks with Warner Bros. to possibly take on the role of Thalia Al Ghul in the next Batman movie. Follow the link below for the brief article.
Batman Actor Possibilities
Reuters through Yahoo/Movies has an article about Jane Hathaway and Jessica Biel being on the short list for the third Batman movie. They mentioned Talia as being the character they are being considered for.
