Supergirl/Flash Crossover Announced
ICv2 has posted some exciting news for DC television fans. Executive Producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg announced that the CW’s Flash will appear in CBS’ Supergirl. The Crossover episode will air March 28. This will bring the DC television universe a fifth tie-in show even though Supergirl is on CBS. It has already been stated that Constantine has been in Arrow even though that show was canceled the character has lived on. The other three (Flash, Arrow, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow) being on the CW. Don’t know how they would tie in with Gotham unless they bring in a grown up Bruce/Batman and use the same villain actors with some aging makeup on them or have the Legends of Tomorrow team go to that timeline in Gotham. It would be really cool if they could get them all tied together.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Trailer
The CW gives us a new trailer for the upcoming DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. This show looks to be as well made as Arrow and Flash so I’m definitely excited. Check out the trailer through TV on CBR’s YouTube channel:
Legends of Tomorrow Trailer
Check it out the first trailer for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow television series, from CW Television Network’s YouTube channel. Side note to Michelle, it has Firestorm in it. Firestorm is one of her favorite characters. Anyway it looks like Legends of Tomorrow might be pretty good.
Arrow/Flash Spin-off Given Title
The CW has agreed to terms to air the Arrow/Flash spin-off. The series title will be DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. The story line will be:
“When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?”
Hopefully the creative team for this series will keep up the quality that is associated with the Arrow and Flash.
Hawkgirl Cast for Another DC Comics TV Series
Ciara Renee joins a growing list of actors to be cast in the upcoming CW Spinoff of the Arrow and Flash TV series. Ciara has been cast as Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl. Her fellow peers are: Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/The Atom; Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/Black Canary; Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave; Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold; and Victor Garber as Dr. Martin Stein. It’s fun to see the CW making a family of television series from DC Comics.
Arrow/Flash CrossOver Event
I know the pic above says Flash vs. Arrow, but I’m an Green Arrow fan, so for me he will always get top billing. Anyway, this looks like a great two part crossover. Check out the promo below from the “Television Promos” YouTube channel:
Spectre in Constantine?
Will the Spectre be showing up in Constantine, the DC Comics Vertigo title on NBC? Things kind of point that direction as the show as added the character Jim Corrigan, to the show to be played by Emmett Scanlan, who is known to be Spectre in the DC Universe. This could be another fun series like Arrow if they introduce several of DC’s supernatural characters to the show.
What would really be cool is if they would tie this into Arrow and Flash for crossovers. But that’s probably to much to ask for.
Arrow Season 3 & Flash Seaosn 1 Trailer
Season 3 of Arrow looks to be like great outing and now we also get the first season of the Flash. And to top it all off they are tied together. Bringing us more superheroes and super villains. Looks like DC is doing with television what Marvel is doing in the movies, making a DC Universe that is tied together with the Arrow and Flash. Question is will the new Gotham television series be tied in with the Arrow and Flash as well. Any way here is the latest trailer from the CW with the upcoming Flash series that is spinning out of the Arrow series. It looks like another winner to me.
