All the Sword Art Onine fans will want to start visiting their local theaters. Why? Well Sword Art Onine: The Movie – Ordinal Scale will be getting a limited release to U.S. theaters on March 9. The first anime film project from Honeyworks’ is being released this week in Japan, entitled Kokuhaku Jikko Iinkai Renai Series. Honeyworks’ is a vocaliod song project that consists of composors Gom & shito, guitarist Oji, illustrators Mogeratta & Rokuru, video productionist ziro, keyboardest cake and drummer AtsuyuK. Their first anime film project is I’ve Always Liked You: Confession Executive Committee that is based around the singles “Kokuhaku Yoko Renshu” (Confession Rehearsal), “Hatsuki no Ethon” (The Picture Book of the First Love) and “Yokimochi no Kotai” (The Answer to Jealousy). This looks to be an interesting project and with Aniplex backing it hopefully we will see it distributed in the North American market. Aniplex of America will be releasing The Anthem of the Heart at the end of March. This one looks really well done. Sometimes it’s nice to get away from the big fighter robots or magical worlds and have a slice of life movie with just a hint of magic. Consider adding it to your collections. Kill la Kill will be released to the North American market with English Dub. There will be three different versions you can chose from on July 15. However, if you are like me I wait until the complete series is available to own for my anime collection. You will have to decide how you will want to purchase this title for your anime collection’s, but usually the complete set comes in a little cheaper.

Aniplex of America representatives announced at the Anime Boston Convention that starting in August Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim Toonami block will begin airing Sword Art Online. The sets will be able to purchase through Right Stuf and Aniplex’s websites beginning August 13, the continuing on September 17, October 15, and November 19.
Aniplex also announced that the 1997-2001 Rurouni Kenshin OVA’s (Original Video Anime) will be released on Blu-Ray. Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal on August 24; Reflection on September 21; and The Movie on Oct. 26. To read the full article follow the link.
