JOME Latest Single “Cinnamon”

blackpandaPRjome1

JOME is sharing with the listeners of ComicPop again.  This time it is with the single “Cinnamon”.  This single is very atmospheric with a heavy slow beat.  Most people will listen to this when they are in a specific mood and just want to chill.  So everyone take a moment, if you can, grab a glass of Scotch set back in your chair and let the music flow with JOME”s “Cinnamon” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Kimberley Locke Covers “I Will Survive”

blackpandaPRkimberly

Kimberley Locke, one of the finalist of American Idol in Season 2, shares with our listeners her rendition of Gloria Gaynor’s single “I Will Survive”.  Kimberley takes the disco hit and slows it down to make it into a ballad.  Some listeners that can remember Gloria’s hit might not recognize this rendition.  By slowing it down it really changes the feel of this song.  Check out Kimberley Locke’s cover of “I Will Survive” through SoundCloud – Richard:

JOME’s Premiere Single “Brushstroke”

blackpandaPRJOME

JOME is sharing with the ComicPop listeners the premiere of “Brushstroke”.  The drums that the piece utilizes give the single a little bit of a tribal feel, which I enjoy.  When the chorus hits it brings up the songs tempo and gives a nice contrasting element between the verse and chorus.  To me this is an anthem song for people that don’t want to be forgotten and to change that precept and not be forgotten is to change the color you paint your would with or even the “Brushstroke”.  Thanks to JOME for sharing “Brushstroke” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Adam Jensen debuts “Sandcastles”

blackpandaPRadam1

Adam Jensen is sharing his debut single “Sandcastles” with the ComicPop Library listeners.  “Sandcastles” is a nice clean and clear pop single.  Adam’s voice is strong and confident.  The music compliments his voice not the other way around.  I also love the instrument play he has in this single.  He is playing around with sound and I like it.  It also gives the single an alternative feel.  Many of us will also appreciate the lyrics and relate to them.  Adam is still working on an EP that he plans on releasing later this year and if this is an indication of what will be on it I’m definitely interested in hearing more.  Check out Adam Jensen’s “Sandcastles” through SoundCloud, I think you will like it – Richard:

Blancos’ Music Video for “BKCBD”

blackpandaPRblancos

The Blancos are making their EP debut with Broken Kids.  They are sharing with ComicPop their music video for the single “BKCBD” from the EP.  This single is one that will surprise people.  Parents will probably here the lyrics and go crazy because of the mature content.  However, this single has a beautiful rhythm and the lyrics even though rough are telling a powerful story, because their are probably several kids that think this and many more that are living it (“BKCBD”/ Broken Kids Chasing Broken Dreams).  The music video has a very cinematic feel to it and gives additional weight to the single.  The Blancos are going to be at SXSW so if you are there during their session stop in to check them out.  Until then here is their “BKCBD” music video from their YouTube channel that you can enjoy – Richard:

We’ve featured Rozes before, but she had the cool experience of being on National television.  The Chainsmokers were on The Late Late Show with James Corden for their song “Roses” that Rozes is featured in.  So check out the footage from the Late Late Show’s YouTube channel to see and listen to Rozes performance – Richard:
