This one is for all the Dragon Ball fans. This July, Japan’s Fuji TV will premiere a brand new Dragon Ball animated television series entitled Dragon Ball Super. This is inspired by Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball, but he is not writing the script. So more than likely this will make its way to the North American Market.

All I can say is that I hope a North American distributor will pick up Attack on Titan for distribution. Australian distributor Madmen Entertainment has already picked it up for their region and has begun streaming the following subtitled trailer on their YouTube channel. City Bird has given ComicPop what I consider a cool/fun song. “That Girl is Wrong for You” is Craig Greenberg’s single from his album The Grand Loss & Legacy. It starts with a nice opening beat that builds up and then drops into the Randy Newmanesque voice and sound of Greenberg. I for one love it! Check it out through SoundCloud – Richard:
For gamers and graphic novel lovers The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past will generate interest. The graphic novel is being published by Perfect Square and is slated for a May 2015 release.

The Halo franchise will be coming to you as a table top game now. It is Halo: Fleet Battles, the Fall of Reach and is a battleship miniature game made by Spartan Games (Not ironic at all). The base set is slated for a third quarter release, at a suggested price of $140. Ouch! you say. Well for that amount of coin you get: 100 page color rulebook, Fall of Reach campaign guide, 49 miniature models, 25 dice, Fleet Commander Data sheets, Flight Stands, Overlay Cards, Punch-out Scenery, Token sheets, and a quick reference guide. Gamers have been warned.
Wow, you don’t hear songs like this to often anymore. The Leeway gives us “If Only” that has that piano lounge feel to it. My thoughts went immediately to artists like Billy Joel and Barry Manilow. Don’t know if this is The Leeway’s sound or if this was a one off for a change of pace, but it is really nice. Check out their music video for “If Only” through the band’s YouTube channel.
