Dioni hits it out of the park again with her classic 1960’s vibe with “It’s a Blue World”. This time around we also get to share with you a genre inspired music video that she did for the single. So check it out through Chic Vinyl Records YouTube channel:

Island Ap0llo shares Two of Their Latest, “Miracle” and “Lion Eyes”
Island Ap0llo has been kind enough to share two of their singles with us. The first is “Miracle” which I like the beat to that gets your head and body to moving. The bridge takes you in a different direction that changes the tone of the single and then comes back to a lighter tone for the last verse and then into a dark tone again to close out the single. I can appreciate them experimenting like this, but some listeners might get lost. Know “Lions Eyes” is one that everyone that knows me I like even better. When the song is upbeat and catchy you have me hooked and I’ve already listened to it multiple times. Take a listen to both songs through SoundCloud and thanks again to Island Ap0llo and Kershona Mayo for sharing – Richard:
New DC Animation
Warner Bros. Animation announced that the next three DC Comics animated features. They will be Batman: Bad Blood, Justice League vs. Titans, and Batman: The Killing Joke. The Killing Joke is a very dark story so that is an interesting choice and how they will approach the story. Hopefully they will go a little beyond the story to show that Barbara Gordon doesn’t descend into a dark depression, but works her way through the incident that has changed her life.

Flagship’s “I Want You” Lyric Music Video
Amanda, of BlackPanda PR, shares with us Flagship and their lyric music video “I Want You” for you listening and viewing pleasure. “I Want You” has a great beat to it. The duo delivers the verse is a slower pace than expected with the rhythm of the single. When the chorus hits then one can really feel the rhythm of the song. Take a listen to “I Want You” through the bands YouTube channel and if you like them check them out in these venues to hear Flagship live – Richard:

Alpine Camp has No “Regrets of a Cosmic Mountaineer
Ariel and The Alpine Camp has given us “Regrets of a Cosmic Mountaineer” to share with you. The Alpine Camp are a folk band, but with “Regrets” it is like a folk song on speed. It has the elements of a folk song, but the band has fun with the single by speeding it up, which makes “Regrets” become infectious. Take a listen to “Regrets of a Cosmic Mountaineer” through SoundCloud – Richard:
Marvel’s Summer Event Secret Wars
Marvel has evidently gotten to big and is pulling a DC move with the merging of worlds in the 2015 Secret Wars titles. Sounds like what DC had to do with their Infinite Crisis story and Convergence story. Even Star Wars had to do something like this with it’s Expanded Universe that was axed and continuity started again. Check out the trailer for the Battleworld segment of the Secret Wars through Marvel’s YouTube channel:
