The Classic Kids have “Just Begun”

I love this single! I have unashamedly said over and over that I enjoy the boy band and girl bands. I like to have fun with my music and The Classic Kids harken back to this sound. Classic Kids is sharing their music video “Just Begun” with the ComicPop Library listeners, the single comes from their Forever Strong EP. These guys still want to have fun with their music and I can appreciate that. Just because you grow older doesn’t mean you have to become oh so serious. “Just Begun” has a great infectious beat and the lyrics are fun and give a positive outlook. Their EP Forever Strong will be released on January 16 so be sure to look for it on your favorite digital music vendors. Captain America Special

ABC has announced that for Captain America’s 75th Anniversary that they will be airing – Marvel’s Captain America: 75 Heroic Years. This special will give the history of the character through the years. The special will air Tuesday, January 19. So check you listings for your time.

Sean Mitchell’s Single “Lose My Mind”

A big shout out to Sean Mitchell. He is sharing his music video for his single “Lose My Mind” with the ComicPop Library listeners. This looks to be Sean’s first single and he is starting out with a good one. “Lose My Mind” has a great catchy rhythm and I love the bass beat…it makes your body want to start moving. The lyrics of the single blend in with the instruments, but the production of the single and Sean’s upper voice range separate the vocals and instrumentals so they aren’t fighting each other. I enjoyed the music video and especially love the Superman workout shirt, it’s good to see he can appreciate comic book characters, however the song is the star which it should be. Sean is sharing his “Lose My Mind” music video through the Raphael Di Raddo Productions YouTube channel. If “Lose My Mind” is any indication I can’t wait to hear more from Sean – Richard:

Tommy KD Brings Awareness with “Homeless” Single

Tommy KD is sharing his single “Homeless” with ComicPop Library. The single was done to help bring awareness to the homeless in our world. It has a strong message to it and at the same time has a nice rhythm and Tommy’s voice is really clear for the listener. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Trailer

Bandai Namco Entertainment America is streaming the trailer for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4: Secret Technique Jutsu on their YouTube channel. Naruto fans will be happy for this one to see their favorite characters in action and the Reverse Sexy Jutsu is great. The release date for the video game will be: Japan, February 4; Europe, February 5; and North America, February 9.

Food Wars! gets Second Season

Yuto Tuskuda and Shun Saeki’s Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma manga gets a second season. Viz is publishing the manga for the North American market while CrunchyRoll has shown the first season. Hopefully someone will pick up the distribution rights for the anime’s first season for the DVD/Blu-Ray North American market. The manga is a mature title but it is so much fun.
