We have spotlighted Elephant 12 before so everyone will remember them. This time the group wants to share with the ComicPop Library listeners their second single, “There Goes My Ego”. The song has nice clean lyrics that fit well with the underlying instruments. And I think everyone can relate to taking a hit to their ego at times. Be sure to keep an eye out on iTunes for their upcoming EP Hellophantastic, that contains this single. Thanks again to Elephant 12 for their continued support and here is their single “There Goes My Ego” through SoundCloud – Richard:
Luck & Logic TCG and Anime from Bushiroad
Bushiroad has announced it’s latest TCG game, Luck & Logic. The English release of Luck & Logic is set for a Summer date and one has to wonder if the anime series that is a companion piece in Japan will to far behind for a North American release. But one never knows with distributors…if nothing else our TCG fans will have their new cards to get. Here is the two ads for both the anime and card game through their YouTube channel:

Jumpcuts’ latest Music Video for “Everything We Are” Single
Jumpcuts is sharing with ComicPop Library their latest music video for “Everything We Are”, off their album Fiber Optic Bondage. The single itself is a slow techno sound with lyrics that they want you to listen to for the meaning. This isn’t one that will make you get up and dance, but one to contemplate. The music video helps with it’s imagery. It shows the founder of the band and pieces of his Kenner Vintage Star Wars toy collection. Basically, what I got out of it is for the listen to remember “Everything We Are” is by what we surround ourselves with. You can have your collections, but don’t forget about the family, friends, and people in your life that make up who you are. Its not only about the collection. You might get something else, who knows. If nothing else enjoy the vintage toys. Thanks to Jumpcuts for sharing their music video for “Everything We Are” through their YouTube channel and keep an eye on iTunes for their album in March – Richard:

20th Anniversary for Pokemon
ICv2 is reporting that the Pokemon Company has purchased air time for a Pokemon commercial during Super Bowl 50. This ad will kickoff the 20th Anniversary for Pokemon. The Official Pokemon Channel on YouTube has begun streaming the below add, but it is unclear if the same ad will be the one airing during Super Bowl 50, I kind of think they would have a different one for that after spending that much money for air time. The company is also declaring February 27th as Pokemon Day with several things happening. Here is the link to ICv2 for more details: http://icv2.com/articles/news/view/33466/super-bowl-50-spot-kicks-off-pokemon-20th Keep your eyes sharp and ears tuned in for special events during this year. So to Pokemon fans and the Pokemon Company happy 20th Anniversary!

Pacific Rim Hits Pacific Coast
Six Flaggs already has ties with Warner Bros. and features DC Comics character and Looney Tunes charater rides in their theme parks across the United States with a variety of rides. Now Six Flaggs Discovery Kingdom, in Vallejo, California, has announced that it will be adding a Pacific Rim attraction to it’s theme park. Might be cool we’ll just have to wait and see. No specific dates have been announced before the attraction will be open just coming soon, but it is this year.
