The FUNimation channel on YouTube is streaming the following trailer for their upcoming release Michiko & Hatchin. This one looks to be for at least an audience 16 and up. Check out the trailer below and see if it might be something you want to add to your anime collection. The scheduled released date for the Blu-ray and DVD sets are September 17.
Pacific Rim hits theaters this week. Looks to be cool, but most of your Japanese Manga and Anime fans are going to look at this and say it looks very familiar. Shochiku, a film distributor, began streaming a trailer for Space Battleship Yamato 2199 (or Star Blazers to a large group of fans). Shochiku has distributing this anime series as a group of movies and is releasing the sixth movie June 15 entitled, Totatsu! Dai Magellan (Arrival! The Large Magellanic Cloud). Hopefully when all is said and done this remake will make its way to the North American market, because Star Blazers is still recognizable by many anime fans.
