Saving Mr. Banks Trailer

This is one that if it is shown in your area looks to be a fun one.  It’s surprising that a Disney movie is getting a limited release, but there you go.  If you are a Mary Poppins fan you definitely will want to see Saving Mr. Banks.  Thanks to “MOVIECLIPS Trailers” for the following trailer:

Godzilla Teaser Trailer

We are getting another chance at making a Godzilla movie.  I didn’t mind the last one, but Godzilla has a specific look that was not represented, which upset a lot of fans.  This time it looks like Warner Bros. is trying to keep that specific image that everyone gets when you say Godzilla.  Thanks to the “Godzilla” channel on YouTube for providing this teaser trailer, it looks fairly decent and it is scheduled for a May 16, 2014 release date:

We Finally get a Full Kiki Trailer

After a couple of teaser trailers we finally get the first full trailer for the upcoming Kiki live action film.  I would expect this movie will be either dubbed or subbed to be sold in the North American market when it becomes available for sale.  I’m sure everyone has the anime in their collection.  Thanks to “maidigitv” on YouTube for the following trailer:

Starblazers 2199

1979 found me in front of a television after school watching a new cartoon.  That cartoon was, unbeknownst to me, the anime Starblazers (Uchu-Senkan Yamato).  I just thought this was a cool space cartoon, being fresh off watching Star Wars, in 1977 which feed into my love for Science Fiction.  Starblazers 2199 is a re-adaptation of Yoshinobu Nishizaki’s original work, from Production I.G. and Voyager Entertainment, and will be available with English and Spanish subtitles.  This is a classic anime that you will want to consider for your anime collection, it would fit nicely right beside the original series.  Check out the short feature below explaining Starblazers 2199 and how it will differ from the original series. Catching Fire Trailer

The next big movie is rolling out this weekend and that is of course the sequel to the Hunger Games, Catching Fire.  I’m sure it will be another hit.  Thanks to “CBMTrailers” for the following trailer:

Black Butler Trailer

Black Butler is a manga series by Yana Toboso and is being release by Yen Press.  Great news for the fans of the series in a since.  The live action Black Butler is set to be released in Japan, January 18, 2014.  The film stars Hiro Mizushima as Sebastian and Ayame Goriki as Shiori, Sebastian’s newest master.  The movie is set 130 into the future of the manga series so it is not a straight up adaptation, but could be looked at as a future story for the series.  It depends on how one looks at the film.  Since Warner Bros. is involved with production I would think that this movie will eventually make it to the North American market either as a dubbed or at least a subtitled movie.  Thanks to “NatashaJapan” on YouTube for the following trailer:

Book Thief Trailer

Hopefully the Book Thief will be released in your area.  The Book Thief was one of those books that everyone that read it loved it.  The movie is getting a limited release, but maybe if enough people attend the movie, it could still get a wide release.  Thanks to “MOVIECLIPS Trailers” on YouTube for the following trailer:

Wolf Children Trailer

Wolf Children is available to order now.  So check out you distributors and add this to your request list to add to your anime collections.  Thanks to the FUNimation Channel on YouTube for the following trailer:
