Syre & Fresko’s Latest “Gonna See Miracles”

cyberpr1syre

Syre & Fresko’s “Gonna See Miracles” has a great native feel to it.  With the steady drum beats that get your body to moving.  The chorus is very catchy and the bridge they us at the beginning of the song and between the chorus and new verse is reminiscent of something from Phillip Phillips or Mumford and Sons.  I would say this particular song feels like pop folk and many of you will enjoy it.  I enjoyed Syre & Fresko and hope to hear more from them.  Give it a listen through SoundCloud below – Richard:

ComicPop Spottiness

comicpoplogo - facebook

I want to take some time here and explain why the site has been spotty lately.  With the holiday season I end up taking quite a bit of time off to use my vacation.  When I take the time off it is usually away from everything including the computer.  Then this past week I had an additional issue come up with a death in the family.  So I apologize for the spottiness and because of this I will be uploading a lot of posts to catch up, which include several posts from our Indie Music friends.  Take care everyone and happy holidays.

Torsha Lynn’s Debut Single “Supa Baddd”

cyberpr1torsha

Torsha Lynn has a very nice voice.  For “Supa Baddd”, her debut single, she gives us a R&B/Hip Hop feel.  Torsha has a great R&B voice, but the beat for the single has the Hip Hop feel.  The higher and lower voice that is sprinkled throughout the song I did not appreciate, but others might like.  I think Torsha’s voice alone could carry the song and didn’t need the extra theatrics.  Love to hear more from her to see what direction she will lean toward as a genre.  Check out “Supa Baddd” through SoundCloud below – Richard:
