KanColle Girls Helping with Volunteer Firefighting Recruitment

AnimeNews Network brings us another interesting little tidbit with using popular characters to help with promotions.  Volunteer firefighting brigade Shizuoka Fire Department No. 8 is using the KanColle girls in five different recruitment posters.  The posters creator, who is also a volunteer member, Makoto Suzuki hopes the posters will encourage younger people to volunteer.

New Yu-Gi-Oh Cards Coming in May

Konami is set to release Yu-Gi-Oh: Primal Origin booster packs on May 16 and contain new cards for players and collectors.  The set will contain 100 cards: 48 Common Cards; 20 Rare Cards; 14 Super Rare Cards; 10 Ultra Rare Cards; 8 Secret Rare Cards; 5 Ultimate Rare Version Cards; and 1 Ghost Rare Version Card.

Busy Week

This has been a busy week.  I had a business retreat this week so I was unable to post anything.  However, the very next post will be a ComicPop Visits.  The crew was able to visit with the founder of Free Comic Book Day, Joe Field.  The upcoming podcast post will be part 1 of our visit and then Monday morning I will post part 2 of the visit.  Everyone enjoy the week end – Richard
