PleasePlease Has a Release

Summer Starts NOW

The Official EDM summer anthem will have you screaming
PleasePlease & “Viva La Piano”
AVAILABLE FOR FREE TO DOWNLOAD / POST

PleasePlease is the New Zealand duo of Antony Jeffares & Ryan Mulligan.  The pair creates perfectly executed electronic dance music.  Their new single: “Viva La Piano” is the fuel injected, heart thumping, non-stop dance soundtrack to our summer festival.   Unlike other faceless and robotic EDM duos, PleasePlease add a warmth and personal touch often missing from the burgeoning music genre.
Very catchy tune.  Just the beat alone gets your body moving.  Just a fun song to have fun moving your body to and signing along with the lyrics.  Great Summer music.
Check Out Their Sun Soaked Video for “Viva La Piano” HERE!

PleasePlease will open for Passion Pit July 25th at
The Powerstation in Auckland, New Zealand

The High Wire’s Latest

ANGLO CANADIAN INDIE OUTFIT
The High Wire
PREMIERE swirling string led single “LNOE”
Exclusively Through Pigeons & Planes

“there’s a crispness and melodic power that drives “LNOE”… It’s a song that strikes a chord between anthemic and laid back, with strings and production touches fit for a stadium-mover and a melody that could easily be placed on top of a lone acoustic guitar and hold up just fine.”
— Confusion, Pigeons & Planes

Indie outfit The High Wire, who are named after the Richard and Linda Thompson song “Walking on a Wire,” premiere new track “LNOE” exclusively through Pigeons & Planes.
The Hire Wire’s sound for this single is quite a bit of instrumentation.  I like to hear different sounds within my music and with the violin and bell it achieves that for me.  This might not appeal to most people at first, but if you listen to it a few times I think you will appreciate it.  The vocals are nice and clear and they kind of sound like the ’60’s songs.  Give it a try by clicking the link above.

NOVI Reveals New Single “Make a Scene”

The Latest Transmission From

The New Enchantress Of Electro Pop NOVI

Her Unhinged Single:
“Make A Scene”

Born in Ashland, Oregon now based in Los Angeles, Carolyne Neuman is NOVI. Her wavelengths of sound are defiant and poignant, resonating with her unique perceptions and insightful take on what’s happening. A one-woman galactic force of nature.  Her music blends small town charm with a big city edge and brash lyrics all wrapped up in a futuristic dance party.
This single was just a fun track to listen to.  “Make a Scene” has a good beat and the words a fun as well.  It’s one that will stick with you after you listen to it.  Very nicely done, so be sure to click on the link above to listen to the single.

Sons of Anarchy in Comics

Boom! Studios have picked up the rights to FX’s Sons of Anarchy.  The projected distribution date is set for September.  Once enough material is published you can expect a graphic novel, which will probably be in the first or second quarter of 2014.  Just by seeing the show a few times this title will probably be placed in the “Mature or Adult” Collection.

Noah and the Whale Single

Noah and the Whale is a group that hails from London.  There fourth album Heart of Nowhere is also one of their singles “Heart of Nowhere – Featuring Anna Calvi.  This is one I could take or leave.  It’s not bad, I have definitely heard worse.  The intro is drawn out a little to far and the singer during the verses, to me, sounds a little like Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.  Check them out it might be something you will enjoy.  For more indie music info. visit the Wild Honey Pie site at http://www.thewildhoneypie.com/
