AMV Spotlight of the Week

This weeks AMV Spotlight is on “snowdragon25”.  Since we are getting ready for the biggest party of the year, I thought this AMV was appropriate.  “snowdragon25” took the song “Party All Night (Sleep All Day)” performed by Sean Kingston and edited in several clips from different anime that featured the main characters dancing or singing.  The scenes have some transitions with no hard breaks between the variety of scenes, a really nice job.  The black border around the video is not my most favorite feature. I like for the AMV to take up the complete screen, but that’s just me. You can catch the AMV on YouTube under “Anime Dance Anime AMV – Party All Night” or check it out here:

CBLDF has Article Talking about the Rockefeller Bill

The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund’s website has an interesting article talking about the Rockefeller Bill mandating a study into media violence and their effects.  Even though this went through the Supreme Court once before showing there was no cause and effect with media violence and cultural behavior.  The link is provided below so you can read the complete article.

Jack Reacher Movie Trailer

The main movie for this weekend is Tom Cruise’s latest, Jack Reacher.  This movie is based off a character of Lee Child’s series of novels.  I’m not sure if this is a straight adaptation of the first book of the series, I don’t read this particular author to know.  Thanks to YahooMovies for the following trailer:
