Konami’s website is showing a new structure deck that you can talk to your gaming patrons about. Gates of the Underworld Structure Deck will have 40 cards in it and is slated for an October 11, release with a suggested retail price of $9.99. If your Yu-Gi-Oh players don’t already know about this, tell them about it.

ICv2 is reporting that Moonscoop is creating a new Sabrina the Teenage Witch animated series. No debut date was given. But by looking at the image that was provided you can tell there is an anime style influence in the design of the characters.

Let your TCG gamers now that this November there will be a new Pokemon: Black & White – Noble Victories expansion set. The set will have 50 never before seen Pokemon that fans will definitely want to get.
Here’s a movie that your patrons might not get into, but librarians might. A Bird of the Air’s female lead is a librarian. It looks a little quirky, but fun. Dynamite Entertainment is releasing a new art book that libraries can purchase either for their art collection or graphic novel collection. The Art of Howard Chaykin is written by Robert Greenberger and is a 200 page hard cover volume. This should be able to be pre-ordered because it is scheduled to be released during the month of December.
This weeks AMV comes from YouTuber Mewprincess3. Mewprincess3 uses the song “Just Haven’t Met You Yet” performed by Michael Buble and edits images from Fruits Basket to the lyrics. This is a perfect fit to me. Through the whole series Kyo and Tohru didn’t truly meet each other until the very end. If your library doesn’t have a copy of Fruits Basket and you can find one it would be a great addition to the anime collection. Everyone wanted Fruits Basket to have a second season but at this point I don’t think that will happen and it might be for the best (can lightening strike again?) Let the anime series be the best that it is and patrons that want to get the full story can finish it up in the manga. AnimeNews Network has posted another trailer from the Tokyo Game Show through YouTube. This time it is from Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XIII-2. The U.S. release of this game is slated for January 31, 2012.
Bill Tucci fans will want to know about this book along with some of your library’s local churches. Bill Tucci, who created Shi, has produced a comic book that pulls for the Christian faith. Tucci’s art has always been outstanding in all of his work. This can also be used as talking points for your local youth church groups to let the groups know there is something for everyone in the comic art form of story telling. Bill Tucci’s A Child Is Born is in this months previews and has a retail price of $5.99, from Apostle Arts, Tucci’s co-owned publisher.
