Anna Rose shared with our listeners her single “Start a War” a while back. She has recently finished up the music video for the single and wanted to share it with the ComicPop listeners. ICv2 is reporting that WGN America has ordered a pilot for the DC Comic’s Vertigo title Scalped. The series will be an adaptation of Jason Aaron and R.M. Guera’s comic book series. If this comes to pass I would expect something on the level of the Walking Dead production, because this is a great story told for a mature audience.

Well at least Yu-Gi-Oh is back in theaters in Japan. The official website for the new movie has begun streaming the trailer for Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions. You know that this will make its way to the North American market at some point. It might be released in theaters or not, but I’m positive it will get a Blu-ray/DVD release. Adam Jensen is sharing his debut single “Sandcastles” with the ComicPop Library listeners. “Sandcastles” is a nice clean and clear pop single. Adam’s voice is strong and confident. The music compliments his voice not the other way around. I also love the instrument play he has in this single. He is playing around with sound and I like it. It also gives the single an alternative feel. Many of us will also appreciate the lyrics and relate to them. Adam is still working on an EP that he plans on releasing later this year and if this is an indication of what will be on it I’m definitely interested in hearing more. I have posted before about the Diver City Tokyo Plaza, but I wanted to do so again. If you happen to be traveling to Tokyo and love the Gundam franchise Diver City Tokyo Plaza is a stop you will definitely want to visit. If you can’t Ken Ikuhara-Gross has posted several pictures and brief history of the site on animenewsnetwork.com. Above are three of the images he posted in his article. Their are several more and will make you want to make a trip to see the Plaza. On the outside of the Plaza is a life size RX-78-2 Gundam (which is the first picture above) and in the plaza itself is a cafe and memorabilia shop. The 7th floor houses two museums, another gift shop and a Strict-G clothing store. We have spotlighted Elephant 12 a couple of times and done a review podcast for them as well. I really like their energy and I think most of you will to. If you are a comic book collector like I am and you haven’t been down the cereal aisle in you local grocer you might want to go down it. General Mills is doing another DC Comics promotional and this time it is with the upcoming Batman v Superman movie. Their are four mini comic books that are randomly inserted in five different cereals. The cereal boxes to look for are: Cocoa Puffs; Trix; Lucky Charms; Golden Grahams; and Honey Nut Cheerios. I’ve gotten one issue so far, just three more to go.
The Classic Kids is sharing with ComicPop Library listeners again. This time they are giving us their music video for their new single “Drive”. This is another fun song that everyone will get into and have fun with, especially for the fans of 1980’s – 90’s music.
