Square Enix has begun streaming the long version trailer for the Gunslinger Stratos 3 game. The game has a May 12 Japan release date and will more than likely get a North American release date since others in the series have been distributed in North America, however there is no date yet for such a release. CeaseTone is making their US debut at SXSW. This Icelandic duo is sharing with our listeners their single “The Bright Side” music video. Even though the single is title “The Bright Side” the single has a darker tone to it. When listening to it I really felt a Gothic dark resonance from “The Bright Side”. The music video is one I enjoy because of the stop motion animation, but with others it will just depend on what you like. Ep 41 ComicPop Visits with Rhonda Rees about Book Piracy
The ComicPop Crew had the pleasure of visiting with Rhonda Rees on a topic she has had personal experience with, in part 1 of our interview. Rhonda is the author of Profit and Prosper with Public Relations: Insider Secrets to Make You a Success, which was pirated. With her recent accolades: Publicist of the Year from the Book Publicists of Southern California; an IRWIN Award (Industry Recognition of Writers in the News); and most recently Rhonda has been the recipient of the Publicist of the Year Award from the Bulldog Reporter, she has set about to educate the industry on the real threat of book piracy that exists not only for the big press, but for the small press as well.

You knew as soon as I saw this trailer it was going up here. It’s nice to see Spidey and I hope all of the companies will work out some type of deal to get the Marvel Universe back together would be cool to have the mutants in there as well. Which they kind of did with Deadpool, because at the end of the movie for the final battle, unless my eyes deceive, they fight on a downed Helicarrier. Young Avz is sharing with us his single “This Love”. The single has a pop/rap feel that uses Young Avz’ voice to it’s advantage. The music video that was made for the single was done by Young Avz himself and really has an Empire feel to it (if you haven’t seen the show you are missing our on the drama!) AnimeNews Network has a report that is great news for Death Note fans. Come this October there will be a new Death Note film to add to the story. Shinsuke Sato is directing this near future chapter in which two geniuses inherit DNA from L and Light and are in a war over six Death Notes that are on Earth. The cool news is that, as shown above, Erika Toda will be reprising her role as Misa Amane to help tie in the previous films.
John Dillon released his single “The Fox” from his upcoming album The Lost Estate. “The Fox” has a alternative rock sound to it and the way John’s voice is and the rhythm of the song, “The Fox” comes across a little reminiscent of The Cars. The Lost Estate is John’s debut album and will drop on March 25, so keep an eye on the digital music vendors.
