Fly Never Dies is sharing with the ComicPop listeners their single “Love and The Stars.” The single features Casey Shea and is from their just released EP by the same name The Love and The Stars. This single has a electro/pop feel and then shifts into hip hop for it’s chorus. Towards the end the intertwine the two styles which brings out a cool effect. “Love and the Stars” has a feel good quality to it that you will enjoy. And how many songs feature a wood block as an instrument, unless that is an electronic sound effect sometimes it’s hard to tell, but still a wood block was an interesting choice. Batman: The Killing Joke Trailer
DC Comics and Warner Bros. Animation has decided to produce Batman: The Killing Joke. This is one of the few rated “R” animated movies that a company in the U.S. has made. If you are a fan of the Batman mythos you know this was a rough and traumatic story and there really was no other way to adapt this story and have the same resonance. So everyone be aware that this is a great heart breaking/gut wrenching story that is not intended for children.
Alexis Babini wants Everyone to Relax with “Lets Get Stoned”
Alexis Babini is giving the ComicPop listeners a fun song to enjoy entitled “Lets Get Stoned”. “Lets Get Stoned” has a great base beat and Alexis has a nice clear voice. For looking like sure a clean cut gentleman Alexis’ subject matter and language will surprise some listeners. Looking at it as just a piece of music this single has a very catchy beat and a fun chorus for it’s hook that you can’t help but smile and sing along with.
