We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.
Victoria Celestine’s single “Something More” has an infectious electronic/pop beat that gets your head to bobbing. Victoria’s voice is nice and clear and easy on the ears. Shannara Chronicles 2nd trailer makes me want to see this even more. Everything looks to be produced really well. I know it’s only screen shots that we are only getting in this trailer, but it still looks cool and January is getting closer. Check it out through MTV’s YouTube channel:
Hy Brasil is sharing with us their single and music video “Tightrope”. The single has a very smooth pace that transitions into a great driving beat for the chorus and back to the smoothness for the verse. This is one that has been on my reading list for a while know. As they say, “to many books, not enough time”, is true. Kevin J. Anderson continues his Saga of Seven Suns with his latest The Dark Between the Stars. It looks so good and the trailer just makes it look even better. I will get to them eventually. Toei Animation US has begun streaming the English dubbed trailer for World Trigger. Currently you can catch episodes on Hulu and Crunchyroll. You would think that since the company went to the expense of doing an English dub that the anime will eventually make its way to DVD or Blu-ray:

Well-Known Strangers will be one to consider for you playlist. With “Another Sun”, the group gives listeners a light rock/pop sound. I loved the rhythms and Betsy Ade’s Alto voice comes through nice and clear conveying the lyrics of the single really well. They have just released Found that “Another Sun” is on so grab it up and don’t let them be strangers to you.
