We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.
Nintendo is being super cool on their YouTube channel. The Star Fox Zero Wii U game is being released and they have, of course put up the trailer for the game, but they have also are streaming a Star Fox Zero: The Battle Begins a 14 and a half minute short. The short film was worked on by Shigeru Miyamoto, Production I.G., and Wit Studio. Check out the trailer below and then watch the short under that.
The I Am A Hero, by Kengo Hanazawa, rights have been acquired by Dark Horse Comics and was popular enough to have a live action film based on it open in Japan and the film has already started racking up awards at film festivals. It has won Grand Prize at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival, Audience Award and the Jury Prize in the Orient Express section at Portugal’s Fantasporto-Oporto International Film Festival, and Grand Audience Award and Award for Best Special Effects at the 48th Sitges Film Festival in Catalonia, Spain. So with all this attention maybe we will see a distribution deal for I Am A Hero for the North American market as report by AnimeNews Network. Rage of Bahamut – Genesis comes out later this month from FUNimation. This one looks to be a fun adventure fantasy. I’ll be checking it out for a possible for the anime collection, you might to. Here’s the trailer from FUNimation’s YouTube channel:

Funeral Suits is sharing with the ComicPop listeners their lyrics video for their single “Tree of Life”. Even though this single talks about the daily life it looks at the aspect that this isn’t all for us. Things might be unexciting, unless you make it exciting. Look at the world around you and wonder in it. I really enjoyed the beat of the single and lyrics, which after a few listenings you will be able to join in with them in singing the “Tree of Life”. Very uplifting and I really enjoyed it so check out “Tree of Life” from Funeral Suits below through their YouTube channel. If nothing else you got to love the groups name – Richard:
Adam Jensen is sharing with our listeners his latest music video for his single “Numb”. “Numb” is one of those songs that one can get into rather easily. The rhythm is really good and lyrics are very singable and almost everyone can relate to the song to some degree or another.
