We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.
Everyone nows about Netflix’ anime Castlevania first season. It has been available for a while but if you haven’t picked it up yet this is one that would be a great add to the collection. Here’s the trailer through Viz’ YouTube Channel:

Kat Holland is sharing with out listeners her single “The One”, through her YouTube channel. Kat is invoking a smooth rhythmic sound with this single. The instrumentals give it a flare of pop, but Kat’s vocals come across very smooth. Blending in the Jazz and Pop feel I really like and can’t wait to her what else she gives us to hear. Her EP Retrovision is scheduled for a March 22 drop so be sure to keep an eye out for it from you digital vendor of choice. This is one I’ll have to check out and see what I think. For those that love Toy Story hopefully Toy Story 4 is a great continuation of the series. They have always been fun and heart felt so I would think this one would be as well. We’ll find out when it hits theaters on June 21. The Girl in the Bay is a four issue mini-series from Dark Horse Comics. At watching the trailer I am definitely intrigued to see what this story is like. Sounds like a cool read and the artwork looks cool as well. I tend to like clean modern artwork, that’s just me. For collector’s that want to pick this up in floppies the first issue is already out and possibly even the second by this posting, you’d have to check with your local comic shop. If you like your comic books collected and look nice on a book shelf, which is much nicer for public library collections, the scheduled release date of the collected version is currently set for September. Cameron Hawthorn is invoking a nice steady slow dancing country song vibe with his single “Dancing in the Living Room. The single is just him with minimal instrumentation singing a slow melody for young and old lovers out there to get close to each other. This could be either at a dance hall or as the title of the song implies “In the Living Room”.
The music video is one that harkens back to a simpler time in the story of country and western music. It gives me a 1950 – 1960 feel in the way it was filmed. DC has another animated movie for us to look forward to. We get a bit of the Legion in this movie and as always the animation that Warner Bros. is doing for this movie is a treat to look at. Check out what Logan and Richard pull from the “Superhero Collectors Box” full of twelve blind bags. We have a variety of items from the DC and Marvel universes to add to our ever growing collection, but what well we get?
