CAPCOM releasing Steel this June
AMV of the Week
This weeks AMV comes from YouTuber LadySilverWings. LadySilverWings took the song “At the Beginning” performed by Richard Marx and Donna Lewis and edited it around scenes from Chrono Crusade. This is an older AMV, but still worthy of mention. The editing is done cleanly and if you know the story of Chrono Crusade (Manga or Anime) you know this song fits perfectly and it will bring back your feelings you were having at the end all over again. For those of you that don’t know the story I highly recommend you read the manga or watch the anime, then come back a watch the AMV, because it will make the impact of the AMV much better. Great job on your selection and editing LadySilverWings and thank you YouTube of the video, you can find it under “Chrono Crusade – Within My Heart” or watch it below.
AMV of the Week
This weeks AMV comes from YouTuber Pugmasterjack. Pugmasterjack takes the song “Here We Go” by Jason Gochin and edits images from Air Gear to it. The song is a great catchy song and the editing cuts between scenes is well done. All in all a nice AMV that doesn’t have that many views. So check it out on YouTube under the tag “Here We Go Air Gear AMV” or below.
Another Zombie Themed Game
Warner Bros. is bring the world of gaming Lollipop Zombie later this year. This game is definitely not for children. However, for your older gamers (16 and up) will probably get a kick out of this game. It is reminiscent of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie. It has the cheerleader aspect, but with zombies not vampires. While it is a horror game it is full of funny dialogue. Thanks to YouTuber “gamespot” for the trailer below.
Be warned though this trailer contains some language, partial nudity and gory situations.
Spider-Man looks kind of Amazing
AMV of the Week
This weeks AMV comes from YouTuber Heironeous77. This individual takes the song “Blaze of Glory”, performed by Bon Jovi, and edits in scenes from the movie Serenity. The views on this video are low, but don’t let that stop you from view it. It is put together nicely, with attention given to the lyrics of the song and what images are used from the movie. The editing between scenes is smooth in the transitions with no jerkiness at all. If you have not seen Firefly the series or Serenity I recommend that you check it out, it’s a fun series, but be sure you start with the series and then watch the movie. Heironeous77 you did a great job and I hope this will get you some additional views on a well made AMV. You can look up this AMV on YouTube under “Serenity: Blaze of Glory” and check it out below.
AMV of the Week
This weeks AMV comes from YouTuber Leylaashley. Leylaashley takes the anime Appleseed and edits it around the song “Blow Me Away” performed by Breaking Benjamin. The editing is well done, nice clean cuts between scenes. I’ve always enjoyed the computer animation in this version of Appleseed. It is very clean looking. The song is a perfect fit and would go with any military type video. You can go to YouTube and look under “Appleseed AMV – Blow Me Away” and you can also check it out below. Great job Leylaashley.
Gundam That’s Big
If any of your Gundam fan’s have had discussions on how big a Gundam would be this answers their questions. A life size Gundam that was on display at Odaiba is now being rebuilt at Diver City Tokyo at a complex being built on the island Mitsui Fudosan. The video below by YouTuber darwinfish105 lets one see how large this statue is with all of the people passing by and taking pictures. I loved the shots that have the Ferris wheel in the background. The building will have its grand opening on April 19. Thanks to AnimeNews Network for finding this video.
