Big Band is Back with Gregorio Uribe

For those that love big band music you will enjoy Gregorio Uribe. Gregorio brings back all the big band elements and he is sharing with us the single “Caribe Contigo” video from his YouTube channel. It is longer than usual because the song is performed and then a behind the scenes portion of the video begins. I’m used to the 1970’s and the closest thing we had to big band was probably Barry Manilow, so that is who first pop into my head when I listened to “Caribe Contigo”, because he used to have the variety of instruments in his singles. Gergorio Uribe’s album Cumbia Universal is out now digitally so you can find it on most digital downloaders. Australian songstress Dioni is sharing with us her latest music lyric video, for her single “Time for Change”. Dioni still has that soulful voice that we are accustom to. “Think Too Much” with Alphanaut’s Latest

Alphanaut’s single “Think too Much” really had a call back to the 1970’s for me. If you’ll forgive me, the single has that groovy feel to it. The animated music video that Alphanaut is sharing with us also feels like something from that time period. I like “Think too Much” and am interested in hearing more from Alphanaut. Wolf Saga Sways in “Auburn Nights”

For some reason Wolf Saga’s “Auburn Nights” takes me back to listening to songs in the 1980’s. I was in High School and just listening to all kinds of music, as any teenager does, and this would be one I would pick up just to sway my body to while singing it with the artist. The single has a very smooth pace that transitions into a great driving beat for the chorus and back to the smoothness for the verse. Monks Of Mellonwah Shows us Something

Monks of Mellonwah will be releasing their Disconnect EP and to prep everyone for it they have released “Show Me Something More” to PopMatters. I really like the instrumentals on this single. I could just listen to them alone and enjoy the piece. The lyrics are just added flavoring for the single. Hello Sweet Goodbye Music Video

Lady Low is sharing with us their latest music video for the single “Hello Sweet Goodbye”. I don’t know what it is about this group, but I am still liking what they are doing. Lady Low has a way for having darkly beautiful songs. I know it sounds weird, but I can’t think of another way to say it. This single is no exception. The group pulls you in and you just absorb their music into your skin. The video they did for this single is equally absorbing. It is simply done, but I really enjoyed it.
