Big Bang Parody Music Video

Geoffrey the Giant “Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock’
Hilarious Spoof on The Big Bang Theory

More on Geoffrey:
OFFICIAL WEBSITEFACEBOOK

Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock is a side-splitting video that parodies the shows favourite characters settling their dispute in true Big Bang style– with a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard Spock

Sam Kass himself, the inventor of the cult game and the man who has been hailed on the show by Sheldon, Leonard, Raj and Howard, gave Geoffrey his full seal of approval on hearing the track.

The track is taken from Geoffrey’s forthcoming aptly titled Geoffrey the Giant’s Big Bang. Geoffrey is a singer-songwriter from Ottawa Canada who aside from being a very funny man is also incredibly talented singer and has as already dueted with Carly Rae Jepsen on Canadian Idol and song-writing legend Ron Sexsmith.

Of course everyone is familiar with the Big Bang Theory.  Geoffrey has a clear voice and the song has a catchy tune that once listened to you won’t be able to get the chorus out of you head.  Not really sure if more of Geoffrey the Giant’s songs will be parodies or if this is just something he wanted to do, time will tell.  Check out the video here from the Geoffrey the Giant’s channel on YouTube:

Metropolis America’s latest Single and Music Video

Metropolis America
Release “A Stolen Heart In A Stolen Car” Video
Indie – Steedog Records

METROPOLIS AMERICA RELEASE VIDEO “A STOLEN HEART IN A STOLEN CAR”   “A Stolen Heart In A Stolen Car” is an ode to the recklessness of youth. It’s about living in the moment, transgressing boundaries, and feeling the euphoria that comes with not giving a fuck.   Its video, perfectly captures the essence of that rebelliousness. Focusing on two girls who have run away from home and rejected the banality of their formal existence, their escape is alive with the feeling of being young and drunk on life, drunk on possibility but also on drama.

The video is directed by Mate Valtr and produced by Brian Sperber and their efforts and production show a clean short film that has the beginning, middle, and end.  These are the types of music videos I appreciate because they tell the story from the song.  Their hard work has paid off by giving Metropolis America a great music video to go with a great song.  Check it out below from Metropolis America’s YouTube channel:

Torgny Releases “Gronn Extra”

New Single Out Now

Grønn Extra” (Green Extra) is the first single off Torgny’s new album Oil Panic. Somewhere between Broadcast’s “America’s Boy” and Chromeo’s “Needy Girl,” it draws from both electro funk and experimental pop.

Yes it’s catchy, but “Grønn Extra” is uncommonly gritty too, drawing on Torgny’s  dynamic vocal performance and
years of experience in the international hardcore/punk scene.
“Gronn Extra” reminded me of the Electric Pop for the 1980’s to 1990′.  Kind of think of the Beverly Hills Cop sound track and it’s “Axel F Theme” or Miami Vice music that they featured.  Fans from that era will definitely groove to this.  If you are new listeners check it out, you might find yourself grooving to the beat.

“Grønn Extra” is off Torgny’s upcoming LP Oil Panic, out November 8.

Ghost Loft & Twice As Nice Remix

RISING VISIONARY
GHOST LOFT
TEAMS UP WITH TWICE AS NICE
FOR REMIX OF BUZZED ABOUT SINGLE “SECONDS”
EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE VIA BLAH BLAH BLAH SCIENCE

“Seconds” Spent Three Consecutive Days On Hype Machine’s Popular Chart As #1
SINGLE & VIDEO FOR ORIGINAL TRACK PREMIERED
EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH PIGEONS AND PLANES
Ghost Loft is back this week with a REMIX of his buzzed about single “Seconds” from LA-based/Australian Born production duo, Twice As Nice. Blah Blah Blah Science exclusively premiered this killer track and Ghost Loft is offering it up for free download and/or stream.
Ghost Loft’s breathtaking single and video for the original track of “Seconds” premiered exclusively through Pigeons & Planes. The site raved about the track: “The production has a bounce to it, but it’s a dark bounce, and with the Burial-type vocals on the chorus, the track takes on a cold tone despite the handclaps and hummable melody. In 2013, there’s certainly a place for gloomy-but-catchy pop, and Ghost Loft is doing it right.”

“The slow and sensual r&b track with a hip-hop background rhythm is enhanced by directors Daniel Iglesias Jr & Zack Sekuler ‘Ends’ which I think capture quite effectively the soothing love relationship between Choi and his distant lover,” says Crack In The Road of the song and video.
“Seconds” is on the rise.  The single spent three consecutive days at #1 on Hype Machine’s Popular Charts.  In addition, tastemaker Mark Ronson included “Seconds” in his latest FABRICLIVE MIX.
LA-based Danny Choi, the visionary behind Ghost Lost has remixed for rising acts, The Neighbourhood (“Let It Go” remix featured on Pigeons & Planes) & Icky Blossoms (“Heat Lightning” remix featured on The Fader).
Ghost Lost will release his highly anticipated debut EP later this year.

Anna Haas Music Video for “Find Your Home” Single

ANNA HAAS
PREMIERES “FIND YOUR HOME”
VIDEO ON BUST MAGAZINE

ANNA HAAS – “FIND YOUR HOME”

Last year, when rummaging through her great grandfather’s film reels, the fiery and theatrical singer / songwriter / entertainer Anna Haas came across footage of her grandmother in NYC that dated all the way back to 1929. Anna’s grandmother had recently passed, and she was inspired by this serendipitous historical find – footage of Coney Island, Bushwick, dancers at the Copacabana, vintage cars, and even of her grandmother’s pet monkey. “Find Your Home” is a track off of Anna’s debut LP Crazy Is, and the video is a tribute to Anna’s grandmother and her adopted home of NYC.
