The London-born singer, songwriter, and producer Joel Compass offers an impressive combination of undeniable talent and huge commercial appeal. His latest track, “Astronaut,” got the Ghost Loft treatment this week, and now you can take it in. It’s got all of Ghost Loft’s trademarks – those spacey synths most especially. And don’t worry, it’s still got that awesome falsetto courtesy of Joel Compass. How could it not?
This is one where it makes me feel like I’m in a dream sequence.  “Astronaut” is a slower song and isn’t one that will have you up and dancing like crazy.  It is one were I could see danced to as a slow song where you have your partner in close and sharing this strange yet graceful dream.  I don’t know if I could listen to it multiple times in a row, but it is unique enough that I would have a place on my playlist for slower songs.

Ghost Loft is back this week with a REMIX of his buzzed about single “Seconds” from LA-based/Australian Born production duo, Twice As Nice. Blah Blah Blah Science exclusively premiered this killer track and Ghost Loft is offering it up for free download and/or stream.
Ghost Loft’s breathtaking single and video for the original track of “Seconds” premiered exclusively through Pigeons & Planes. The site raved about the track: “The production has a bounce to it, but it’s a dark bounce, and with the Burial-type vocals on the chorus, the track takes on a cold tone despite the handclaps and hummable melody. In 2013, there’s certainly a place for gloomy-but-catchy pop, and Ghost Loft is doing it right.”
 
“The slow and sensual r&b track with a hip-hop background rhythm is enhanced by directors Daniel Iglesias Jr & Zack Sekuler ‘Ends’ which I think capture quite effectively the soothing love relationship between Choi and his distant lover,” says Crack In The Road of the song and video.
“Seconds” is on the rise.  The single spent three consecutive days at #1 on Hype Machine’s Popular Charts.  In addition, tastemaker Mark Ronson included “Seconds” in his latest FABRICLIVE MIX.
LA-based Danny Choi, the visionary behind Ghost Lost has remixed for rising acts, The Neighbourhood (“Let It Go” remix featured on Pigeons & Planes) & Icky Blossoms (“Heat Lightning” remix featured on The Fader).
Ghost Lost will release his highly anticipated debut EP later this year.

Last year, when rummaging through her great grandfather’s film reels, the fiery and theatrical singer / songwriter / entertainer Anna Haas came across footage of her grandmother in NYC that dated all the way back to 1929. Anna’s grandmother had recently passed, and she was inspired by this serendipitous historical find – footage of Coney Island, Bushwick, dancers at the Copacabana, vintage cars, and even of her grandmother’s pet monkey. “Find Your Home” is a track off of Anna’s debut LP Crazy Is, and the video is a tribute to Anna’s grandmother and her adopted home of NYC.

David Lee was born on October 12, 1986 in Seoul, South Korea. His family moved to the United States when he was
8 years old, and while growing up in Fairfax, VA, Lee discovered new music through Napster when the music sharing
site first appeared. Subsequently, Lee borrowed a friend’s guitar and fell in love with the instrument. Since picking up
the guitar at age 17, Lee has lived a life reflective of his passion. Devoting himself to writing and performing, he quickly
forged a path that would lead to the recording of his debut album, Without Any Guard. The title track was inspired by his
reckless pursuit of music and the obstacles he faced along the way.
