AMV of the Week
We are slowing it down this week. This weeks AMV comes from YouTuber Mapache9999. Mapache9999 takes the song “Making Love Out of Nothing At All” performed by Air Supply and edits it with images from Utawarerumono. The editing of the scenes with the music is good. There isn’t any harsh transitions between cuts. However, the subtitles are the bottom of the video are a little distracting and could have been left off. It is an older AMV, but it is still worth checking out on YouTube under “Utawarerumono AMV – Making Love out of Nothing at All” or check it out below. Thanks again to YouTube and Mapache9999.

AMV of the Week
This weeks AMV comes from YouTuber ThreeMadCookies. ThreeMadCookies takes the song “I’ll be There for You” performed by The Rembrandts and edits it to scenes from Library Wars. The editing of the cut scenes is really clean and there is no jerkiness to the video. The song fits well with the edited scenes and follows the characters Iku Kasahara and Atsushi Dojo well. If one has read or watched Library Wars you will know that this song fits the show well and that ThreeMadCookies did a great job in selecting it for this AMV. You can find the video on YouTube by looking under “Library Wars – I’ll be there for you” and you can check it out below.

AMV of the Week
In the spirit of the holidays I choose this week’s AMV. YouTuber noburulez took the Christmas song “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays” performed by N*SYNC and edited it to several different anime. I was able to pick out Ramma 1/2, Chrono Crusade, Tenchi and Love Hina. Noburulez did a nice job of editing all of the different scenes together and I couldn’t see very many hard jerks between edits, very smooth transitions. Images were chosen because of their Christmas feel. This AMV was just recently posted on YouTube so go to the site so go watch it and rate it. You can find it under “MERY CHRISTMAS—AMV (MULTI ANIME MIX)” and check it out below as well.
