We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.
WizKids announced that later this year they are releasing Yu-Gi-Oh HeroClix and Dice-Building Game. The set will include 50 figures designed from the classic animation look of Yu-Gi-Oh. They will be available in 2-player starter packs and Booster packs. Even though they are not released yet WizKids is planning on expansion sets for 2014.
On July 13 Japan will see the release of Pokemon The Movie: ExtremeSpeed Genesect: Mewtwo’s Awakening. This will more than likely hit the North American DVD/Blu-ray market at the end of the year or first part of 2014. Thanks to the Official Pokemon YouTube Channel for providing the trailer:
The Japanese confection company Glico is teaming up with Hirohiko Araki’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure to create snack tie-ins. The snacks will be available, starting February 15, at Circle K Sunkus stores. Individuals that purchase 2 tie-in products will receive 1 of 15 JoJo postcards (pictured below). Those who spend 300 yen can mail in their receipt to enter a lottery to win 1 of 10 anime cels or 1 of 800 Circle K Sunkus pre-paid cards with a security sticker set. So if you are in the area of a Circle K Sunkus store be sure to stop in to get some of these swag.

More fun at Winter Festival. Medicos Entertainment had two statues made for the show from their manga JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures. The statues are of Dio and Jotaro Kujo and they are life-size. For more pictures follow the link below:
Nintendo began streaming a trailer for the upcoming Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates of Infinity 3DS game. Pokemon is like the old standard and might be one to consider picking up for your gaming collection. It will be available in the North American market on March 24.
Ever wanting to take Chemistry with your favorite fictional characters. You can with these two books. Chukei Publishing Company has released Impressive Learning Chemistry (Organic Chemistry) with Lucky Star, where the reader is reading the story with the Lucky Star characters taking the class with them. This release follows the company’s earlier release Impressive Learning Chemistry (Theories) with Lucky Star. School would have been so much funnier if I would have had these type of text books.
Saban Brands announced, that later this year, Digimon Fusion will air on Nickelodeon. No specific date for the debut has been set yet.

Cartoon Network will begin airing Soul Eater on it’s Adult Swim Toonami block starting Sunday, February 17 at 1:30 a.m. EST.
The Pasela Resorts cafe, in Tokyo’s Shibuya ward has transformed a part of their cafe into a xxxHOLIC themed cafe to kick off the debut of the xxxHOLIC live action Television Series. January 21 – March 3 the cafe will have a themed xxxHOLIC themed menu and those that order off of the special menu will receive one of six limited original coasters, that can be seen above.
