Another Zombie Themed Game

Warner Bros. is bring the world of gaming Lollipop Zombie later this year.  This game is definitely not for children.  However, for your older gamers (16 and up) will probably get a kick out of this game.  It is reminiscent of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie.  It has the cheerleader aspect, but with zombies not vampires.  While it is a horror game it is full of funny dialogue.  Thanks to YouTuber “gamespot” for the trailer below.

Be warned though this trailer contains some language, partial nudity and gory situations.

Nicktoons will be debuting Monsuno on February 23.  So tell you anime and gaming fans in the library to check their local listings for the time.  If you remember the reason gamers will be interested is because it will be supported by a CCG that Topps Cards will be distributing so the gamers will want to check out their local card show and the cards will more than likely be in department stores as well.

Soul Calibur V Graffiti Art

Namco Bandai Games Europe came up with a cool way to advertise for Soul Calibur V.  They hired two graffiti artists to do a mural on the Great Eastern Street Wall in London’s East End.  The information on YouTube on gives the name of one artist that painted the advertisement and that is Jim Rockwell.  The below video shows a time-lapse of the painting and a scan of the whole painting when it is completed, which took three days.  The very end of the video is a trailer for Soul Calibur V.  Thanks to AnimeNews Network and YouTube Channel “NamcoBandaiGamesEU” for the news and video.

Are You Getting Hungry

WizKids is planning on three new games based on the bestselling novel Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and the upcoming movie based on the young adult novel.  The first two games will appeal to a hard core game collector.  The games are The Hunger Games: District 12 Strategy Game and The Hunger Games: JabberjayJabberjay is a card game, but it doesn’t sound like it is a TCG.  The last gaming set is The Hunger Games: Collectible Figures.  This set is prepainted miniatures of character likenesses from the movie.  It is unclear if these will be for a miniatures game by itself or if they will be part of one of the other two previously mentioned games.  I would expect the mini-figures to be similar to the HeroClix gaming pieces.  Time will tell, with each game having an early March release date.
