This Resident Evil is probably in your library’s video gaming collection. It is one of the more popular gaming franchises and CAPCOM is releasing Resident Evil 6 this Fall. The release was planned for November, but CAPCOM is planning on releasing the title now during October. The release will be for the PlayStation 3 and X-Box 360. WizKids Adds to HeroClix Line
If you library provides space and information for gamers you might be interested in this for your library or just pass it along to your gaming community. WizKids, the maker of HeroClix, will be releasing an Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Revelations set this coming October. So this information might not just be of interest to your HeroClix players, but also the video gaming community at your library to have an opportunity to get some Assassin’s Creed collectibles.
Resident Evil What?
CAPCOM has announced, not a new Resident Evil video game, but the first official Resident Evil Restaurant. This is were it would be fun to live in Japan with all of the themed restaurants that it has to offer. The Biohazard Cafe & Grill S.T.A.R.S. will be inside the Shibuya Parco shopping center in Tokyo’s Shibuya ward and is scheduled to be open on July 13. Besides food, although no menu has been set yet, the restaurant will off limited edition items for it’s patrons. So if you happen to be traveling to Tokyo or just happen to be in the area, this might be a fun side trip.
Superhero Heroclix Anniversary
WizKids is celebrating 10 years of Superhero HeroClix. If you have a gaming community within your library these would be some sets you might want to pick up either for play use or to giveaway at your library’s Heroclix tournaments. There will be a set for DC and another set for Marvel. They are scheduled to be released in August and will have new sculpts for the game pieces.
New Yu-Gi-Oh Release
Some news for your library’s Trading Card Gamers. Konami will be releasing the Yu-Gi-Oh! Samurai Warlords Structure Deck on June 26. The deck will have 38 Commons, 2 Super Rares (Legendary Six Samurai–Kageki and Shien’s Smoke Signal) and 1 Ultra Rare (Six Samurai Xyz Monster).
Metal Gear Solid Novel
Viz Media is releasing Metal Gear Solid: Guns of the Patriots novel, June 19th. This title will be one that appeals not only to the anime/manga fan, but also your library’s gaming fans. The project MSRP will be $15.99. When you get it in at your library you could spotlight other gaming titles that have been made into novels (i.e. Resident Evil, MASS Effect, and Doom just to name a few that have been published over the years).
What Will You Sacrafice
This will be one that you might put on your library’s to purchase list. PlayStation announced that Soul Sacrifice is planned to be released in the North American and European markets, for the PlayStation Vita. No specific release dates are available yet. One Piece Video Game
This is a title for library’s that have video game collections. Namco Bandai Games Europe released the following trailer of One Piece: Pirate Warriors. The release date for this title is for November 12 and will be available for the PlayStation 3 platform. Make sure your library’s purchasing agents now about this new title. New Kingdom Hearts

Dragon’s Dogma Game Trailer
If any of your gamers are into the fantasy genre you might remind them about this upcoming release.
