WizKids has announced that the Marvel HeroClix next expansion set will be Wolverine and the X-Men. The expansion is set for release August 4. This expansion set will introduce Team Bases. This will allow for individual figure movement or they can combine and move as a team on the Team Bases. The set will have 91 figures, 7 team bases and 12 super rare figures.
SyFy’s new experiment, Defiance. The television series won’t be able to be purchased until after the season, but the video game is available to purchase for your video game collections. With this game, Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring Deck Building Game, it could attract not just trading card gamers, but fantasy based gamers as well. The set has 226 cards, 6 oversized Hero cards and a rule book, put out by Cryptozoic Entertainment. The suggest price is $40.00 dollars. This might be one to pick up for your collection to have on hand to play with fellow gamers.

More TCG news. New cards in the Pokemon Universe will be released on May 18. The set is Pokemon: Black and White – Plasma Freeze and will be a 110 card set that will include EX Cards, ACE SPEC Cards, Trainer Cards and others.
The Pokemon Company confirmed that the limited edition Pikachu Nintendo 3DS XL (pictured above) will be available in the North American market March 24. It will have a 4GB SD memory card and will have a suggested retail price of $199.99.
WizKids announced that later this year they are releasing Yu-Gi-Oh HeroClix and Dice-Building Game. The set will include 50 figures designed from the classic animation look of Yu-Gi-Oh. They will be available in 2-player starter packs and Booster packs. Even though they are not released yet WizKids is planning on expansion sets for 2014.
CAPCOM is streaming a trailer for the upcoming Lost Planet 3 game on their YouTube channel. The video game will have a June 25, North American and a June 28, European release dates. This has been a popular series so you might want to consider it for you video gaming collections.
If you are into the Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures Game the next expansion pack is coming out in March from Fantasy Flight Games. The expansion will be the A-Wing Expansion Pack which is pictured above. Also this year there will be forth coming Millennium Falcon, TIE Interceptor, and Slave I Expansion Packs.

Upper Deck has announced that the Dark City expansion set, for the Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game, will be released June 25 for a suggested retail price of $39.99. The 850 card set will include 350 new cards with 17 new hero cards. So if you, your patrons or your library is into trading card gaming, mark you calendars.
Toy Fair showed some new HeroClix that WizKids will be coming out with this year. One of the new license that WizKids picked up was for the Kick-Ass 2 Movie. The projected release date for them is for June 28.
