Rosebug is sharing with the ComicPop listeners their debut single, “I Am the One” from their album Worst Way. “I Am the One” has an ethereal feel to it. I can here shades of Enya and Cindi Lauper with a touch of psychedelic to boot. Rosebug is certainly playing to a niche market, but give them a listen and you might discover a new sound you enjoy. Phildel has a strong high voice. Her style of music reminds me a little of Enya. It is very melodic and has a mystical sound to it. The videos carry that feel as well, especially with the black masks that the women wear. Check her tour dates below and be sure to mark you calendar for the date in your community.

I do like their sound, but at times the instruments are to overpowering for me. The lead singers voice blends in with the instruments really well, I kind of think of her sound like Enya and how her voice blended in with the instruments. This weeks amv comes from YouTuber Parasite02. Parasite02 takes Enya’s song “Book of Days” and blends it with clips from Chrono Trigger. I love Enya’s work, but I wasn’t sure how it would work with an AMV. Surprisingly with the Chrono Trigger clips it works really well. The fantasy and fast paced elements of the clips work great with the tempo of “Book of Days”.
