Another strong rock outing for Crashing Atlas with their new single “Savages”. Vocals and nice and clear and the instrumentals are on point with a rocking beat. We had a spotlight on them previously with the bands single “Ascend” and Crashing Atlas has not disappointed with “Savages”. Jackie Venson is sharing with us her infectious single “Flying”. This is just a fun song that will get your body moving and put a smile on your face. Very catchy rhythm and you can tell Jackie is having fun with this single. To me it has a flare of the old disco days where you want to get out on the dance floor and dance to the music. The music video is a live performance and again you can tell by watching Jackie and the rest of the band that they enjoy this single. Eden Warsaw shared with us his single “Somebody Tell Me” a while back. Now he has the music video up for the single and he wanted to share it with our listeners as well. Yes You Are is sharing their music video, for “HGX”, with our listeners. The single has that catchy upbeat feel that gets you motivated to get out and about. The verse gives you a straight up base beat to get your head to moving and then the chorus comes in and the full band strikes up in an explosive sound that gets the rest of the body moving. “HGX” has been featured on a Pepsi Max commercial and also in the movie Bad Moms. Resin is hitting our listeners with her ambient single “Hoarse”. This single has a darker tone that boarders on the edge of experimental rock. The mood has to be right for “Hoarse” otherwise it will lose part of it’s impact on the listener. With “Sky Wide Open” TRISTN gives our listeners a fun single to check out. It starts out and you wonder what’s going to happen, and just seconds into the song the rhythm shifts to a fun electronica beat. You have a nice base beat that ties the whole thing together, but at the chorus TRISTN hits you with everything hitting you full force. When I listen to “Sky Wide Open” I hear the influences of bands like the Bangles, which I love. This is just a fun song that everyone can get up and dance around to whether you are at the club or just at the house, you can’t help but move. I wish all town meetings could be this way. The folk/americana band Town Meeting is sharing with our listeners their single “West of Seattle”. The single starts out as a simple folk sound. Then when the vocals come in you get transported back to the late 1960’s -1970’s, when folk/americana was in it’s heyday with the variety of artists like John Denver and Bob Dylan. Town Meeting has a nice clean sound that fits the genre well and will appeal to listeners. Justin Fabus is sharing with us his music video for his latest single “I Hope She’ll Think of Me”. With this single Justin hits that 1980’s sound where it is a more traditional country music sound but starting to get some flare to it. Think back to a mixture of Sawyer Brown and Alabama. Very nice sound that I enjoy and country fans will love to pick this single up. You might also want to check out his previous work, because he has been recognized by CMA with being 2017’s Emerging Artist. Jamil Kassam is sharing with our listeners his single “Rise Now” that has been remixed by LUDE. This single has a great electro/pop rhythm to it. Jamil’s voice really fits this genre well and it sounds like he is having fun singing. This is a single that is letting the listener know that they should believe in themselves and go out and take on the world. Easily see this in a dance club for everyone to move to.
