AMC has released the first trailer for it’s new series Preacher, an adaptation from the Garth Ennis title. Being a cable channel I’m sure AMC will stretch the boundaries like the do with the Walking Dead, but will have to stay confined to a degree. If they did a true adaptation this would have to be on HBO or some other paychannel. However, as good as AMC has done with the Walking Dead, Preacher might be another hit for them. This is one wickedly twisted story…check out the trailer through AMC’s YouTube channel:
Bond, James Bond
Dynamite is bringing James Bond 007 to the comic book world. Dynamite is always good about packaging their series up into graphic novel form. So if you enjoy floppies you can get them that way, but if you are wanting the collected addition for libraries give it a few months and Dynamite will deliver for you.

More Stormy Weather for Marvel
ABC and Marvel are teaming up for a third Storm title. However, instead of it being an original graphic novel like the first two titles, this will be a mini-series first and then I am positive it will be collected into a graphic novel. The mini-series is entitled, Castle: A Calm Before a Storm. Be sure to put this on your purchase list for when it is distributed as a GN.

Legend of the Fist
The movie Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen will more than likely appeal to your anime and manga fans. It does have a superhero feel to it, since the character wears a mask, so your patrons that like comic books might like this to. If nothing else the martial arts angle will be appealing to many people. This moive has a limited release so librarians will have to check local movie houses to see if it is showing in your area. Thanks to Yahoo Movies for the trailer below.
