Luck & Logic TCG and Anime from Bushiroad
Bushiroad has announced it’s latest TCG game, Luck & Logic. The English release of Luck & Logic is set for a Summer date and one has to wonder if the anime series that is a companion piece in Japan will to far behind for a North American release. But one never knows with distributors…if nothing else our TCG fans will have their new cards to get. Here is the two ads for both the anime and card game through their YouTube channel:
20th Anniversary for Pokemon
ICv2 is reporting that the Pokemon Company has purchased air time for a Pokemon commercial during Super Bowl 50. This ad will kickoff the 20th Anniversary for Pokemon. The Official Pokemon Channel on YouTube has begun streaming the below add, but it is unclear if the same ad will be the one airing during Super Bowl 50, I kind of think they would have a different one for that after spending that much money for air time. The company is also declaring February 27th as Pokemon Day with several things happening. Here is the link to ICv2 for more details: http://icv2.com/articles/news/view/33466/super-bowl-50-spot-kicks-off-pokemon-20th Keep your eyes sharp and ears tuned in for special events during this year. So to Pokemon fans and the Pokemon Company happy 20th Anniversary!
Food Wars! gets Second Season
Yuto Tuskuda and Shun Saeki’s Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma manga gets a second season. Viz is publishing the manga for the North American market while CrunchyRoll has shown the first season. Hopefully someone will pick up the distribution rights for the anime’s first season for the DVD/Blu-Ray North American market. The manga is a mature title but it is so much fun. Check out the trialer that Food Wars! official site is streaming which they have also posted on YouTube:
