Anthem of the Heart Trailer
Aniplex of America will be releasing The Anthem of the Heart at the end of March. This one looks really well done. Sometimes it’s nice to get away from the big fighter robots or magical worlds and have a slice of life movie with just a hint of magic. Consider adding it to your collections. Empire of Corpses Select Release
Project Itoh’s The Empire of Corpses will be getting a limited release in select theaters in North America. FUNimation will be the distributor and has scheduled April 19 and 20 for these releases, however, no theaters have been named for the release yet. If you are in a larger metropolitan you might ask around your area and I am sure the closer it gets to the release date FUNimation will have places listed on their website. At least I would hope so, so fans can attend. Here is the teaser trailer that FUNimation’s YouTube channel has put out for Empire of Corpses:

AnimeNews Network has a report that is great news for Death Note fans. Come this October there will be a new Death Note film to add to the story. Shinsuke Sato is directing this near future chapter in which two geniuses inherit DNA from L and Light and are in a war over six Death Notes that are on Earth. The cool news is that, as shown above, Erika Toda will be reprising her role as Misa Amane to help tie in the previous films.
Yu-Gi-Oh is Back in Theaters!
Well at least Yu-Gi-Oh is back in theaters in Japan. The official website for the new movie has begun streaming the trailer for Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions. You know that this will make its way to the North American market at some point. It might be released in theaters or not, but I’m positive it will get a Blu-ray/DVD release. Gundam at Diver City Tokyo Plaza
I have posted before about the Diver City Tokyo Plaza, but I wanted to do so again. If you happen to be traveling to Tokyo and love the Gundam franchise Diver City Tokyo Plaza is a stop you will definitely want to visit. If you can’t Ken Ikuhara-Gross has posted several pictures and brief history of the site on animenewsnetwork.com. Above are three of the images he posted in his article. Their are several more and will make you want to make a trip to see the Plaza. On the outside of the Plaza is a life size RX-78-2 Gundam (which is the first picture above) and in the plaza itself is a cafe and memorabilia shop. The 7th floor houses two museums, another gift shop and a Strict-G clothing store. Make the jump over to AnimeNews Network to view all of the other cool photos and thanks to Ken for sharing: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/feature/2016-03-04/gundam-front-the-ultimate-tour/.99376
