Chloe Bodur’s New Single “Glory”
Chloe Bodur is sharing with our listeners her single “Glory”. Chloe has a nice alto sound which glides through this Jazz/Soul infused single. “Glory” starts out with instrumentals until the 30 second mark and then Chloe comes in with the vocals. Within the instrumentals an electric guitar is used to give this single a little of an electronic sound, but once the vocals hit you know your in for a smooth ride. Premiering The Captain’s Son’s Latest Single “Aloha Love”
The listeners of ComicPop Library get an after Christmas present from The Captain’s Son, with the premiere for their single “Aloha Love”!
The group has been hard at work this holiday season putting on the finishing touches of their newest single and our listeners to get the first chance to enjoy it. Now that “Aloha Love” has been lovingly crafted it is ready to be received by the world.
With The Captain’s Son I get to enjoy several sounds that has influenced them and this one is no different. “Aloha Love” takes us back in the day again, which I love, and as the single’s title suggests the band pays homage to the Jan & Dean/Beach Boys sound. One of my first concerts as a teenager that my parents took me to, and this was back in the mid to late 1980’s I’m not quite that old yet, was to a Beach Boys concert. The Captain’s Son, with their heavy guitar strumming, took me back to that concert experience and when I fell in love with the Beach Sound.
I really enjoy The Captain’s Son and can’t wait to hear what they will gift us with next. Until then enjoy this late Christmas present, “Aloha Love”, through The Captain’s Son’s SoundCloud page – Richard:

G.I. Joe’s New Snake Eyes Trailer
IDW Publishing has introduced a new Snake Eyes to the world of G. I. Joe and readers. The story is written by, long time G. I. Joe scribe, Larry Hama with art by Netho Diaz, who also did the cover art that we have pictured. The story takes the memories of Snake Eyes and implants them into a different person. Now remember G. I. Joe, even though is in a fairly present day setting, still uses fantastical storytelling, so just enjoy and have fun with it. The story lines runs through issue #246 – #250, of G. I. Joe: A Real American Hero, and will be collected afterwards by IDW for libraries and those that like collected editions rather than issues. Here’s the trailer from IDW’s YouTube channel:

As part of Tatsunoko Production’s 55th Anniversary this year they produced an Inini-T Force anime series and film, part of the Gatchaman franchise. The trailer below is for Inini-T Force the Movie: Farewell Gatchaman My Friend. Gatchaman was my first true dive into anime so I for one am definitely looking forward to this release. Presley Tennant’s “BFF” Music Video
Presley Tennant is sharing with our listeners her new single and music video “BFF” that features Well Written. I love the spin Presley has put on the “BFF” meaning, because we’ve all had them, and to know what I mean you will have to watch and listen to her music video. Anyway “BFF” lands squarely in the pop genre. Presley is full of energy in her singing that is shown in this single with its upbeat fast tempo. But she didn’t stop there. In her music video she delivers a ton of energy as well, which captures the viewer to watch it. I love upbeat tempo in my music and this one hits it perfectly for me. Yes, the single is a little snarky, but that’s part of the appeal. Have some fun by checking out Presley Tennant’s “BFF” music video from her YouTube channel – Richard:
