AnimeNews Network site has posted a clip from the upcoming Supernatural anime series. As stated in a previous report Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, stars of the live action series, will provide their voices for the series. ICv2’s site is reporting that GK Films has hired Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby to write the script for the new Tomb Raider movie. GK Films is aiming for a 2013 release for this film. This will be of interest to gamers and patrons that like comic books.
AnimeNews Network’s site, linked below, has announced that the Japanese Band Sadie will be the music guest of honor for the Japanese Pop Culture Convention AM2, July 1-3. Librarians, in the Anaheim California area, can pass this along to their patrons that enjoy JPop and other Japanese music.

DC’s site, linked below, is reporting that Sony Music has launched a new music CD entitled “The Music of DC Comics: 75th Anniversary Collection”. This will have theme songs from a variety of television shows, cartoons, and films.
Anime News Network’s site has an article on the new Trigun: Badlands Rumble movie. This is an older series so some newer librarians might not be familiar with the title. This was one of the funnier series that I have seen. The site also states that the movie will get a limited release in were some theaters will show the English Dubbed version of the film and others will receive the original Japanese undubbed verision. Here’s a new trailer for the upcoming Conan the Barbarian movie, provided by Yahoo Movies. This movie will not only appeal to you fantasy fans in the library, but comic book fans as well. There have been different versions of Conan within the comic book medium. The one I remember most is the Marvel run.

ICv2 is reporting that the upcoming Star Wars Complete Saga Blu-Ray set will include up to 40 hours of extras and the set will be a total of 9 discs. This might be an expensive purchase for the library, but if your library has started purchasing Blu-Rays this would be a great addition to your collection. DC Comics is announcing that the Young Justice animated series, Season 1 Volume 1, will be available on DVD on July 19.
