Wouldn’t You Love to Test Drive this Car

Toyota is having an IDOLM@STER event this February 11 to March 31.  Individuals can call ahead to the Toyota Amlux Showroom in the Ikebukuro Ward to reserve a test drive in the car above or two other IDOLM@STER deco’ed cars.  For 1,000 yen, or roughly $13.00 one can rent a 60 minute test drive of a Prius, Ractis or Wish vehicle and have fun driving around.  It’s a unique way to make some money for Toyota and let fans have some fun for an hour at a fairly reasonable price.

AMV of the Week

We are slowing it down this week.  This weeks AMV comes from YouTuber Mapache9999.  Mapache9999 takes the song “Making Love Out of Nothing At All” performed by Air Supply and edits it with images from Utawarerumono.  The editing of the scenes with the music is good.  There isn’t any harsh transitions between cuts.  However, the subtitles are the bottom of the video are a little distracting and could have been left off.  It is an older AMV, but it is still worth checking out on YouTube under “Utawarerumono AMV – Making Love out of Nothing at All” or check it out below.  Thanks again to YouTube and Mapache9999.

Spider-Man looks kind of Amazing

I didn’t know about this movie when it was first announced.  However, this trailer of Amazing Spider-Man, released on Song Pictures YouTube Channel, looks really good.  Looks like another fun year at the movies for comic book fans.

Having Difficulties

The next few episodes of ComicPop Library are currently delayed.  We are currently having difficulties with our audio uploader.  I’ve had the next podcast ready to go, but for some reason the uploader isn’t wanting to upload it.  We are working on finding out what is happening so please be patient with use.  When we get everything figured out we will get them uploaded.  Thanks for your understanding.

Back to the Wars

Star Wars is back in theaters again.  This time in 3D.  If you have a new generation that has only seen the Clone Wars Animated Series this would be a chance for them to see Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace on the big screen.  Sometimes its just way cooler to see on the big screen than on a television screen.  Thanks to YahooMovies for the following trailer.

Are You Up For This Mystery

The next journey is here tonight with Journey 2: The Mysterious Island referencing Jules Verne novel for the plot.  Just by watching the trailer this will appeal to the younger audiences.  Thanks to YahooMovies for the following trailer.

Soul Calibur V Graffiti Art

Namco Bandai Games Europe came up with a cool way to advertise for Soul Calibur V.  They hired two graffiti artists to do a mural on the Great Eastern Street Wall in London’s East End.  The information on YouTube on gives the name of one artist that painted the advertisement and that is Jim Rockwell.  The below video shows a time-lapse of the painting and a scan of the whole painting when it is completed, which took three days.  The very end of the video is a trailer for Soul Calibur V.  Thanks to AnimeNews Network and YouTube Channel “NamcoBandaiGamesEU” for the news and video.
