The next Warner Bros. Animation DC movie will be Superman vs. The Elite. This movie is based on Joe Kelly’s story from Action Comics #775, “What’s so Funny About Truthj, Justice, and the American Way”. Pauley Perrette, pictured above, will voice Lois Lane and George Newbern will voice Superman. The movie is expected to be available during the Summer months.
Come into our Secret World
This is one for the whole family. Disney is releasing The Secret World of Arrietty. The anime is based on the novel The Borrowers, by Mary Norton. A New Vampire Hunter is on the Scene
Seth Grahame-Smith splashed onto the scene with his novel Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and followed it up with Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. Now his second book Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter is going to transition from novel to the big screen. The director attached to the film is Tim Burton. Music World loses another Great Voice
Sentai gets Gintama
You might want to alert your purchasing department to be on the look out for Gintama: The Movie so you can add it to your anime collection. Sentai Filmworks announced that it has acquired the license for the Gintama: The Movie. The company is planning on releasing the movie later this year on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Another Zombie Themed Game
Warner Bros. is bring the world of gaming Lollipop Zombie later this year. This game is definitely not for children. However, for your older gamers (16 and up) will probably get a kick out of this game. It is reminiscent of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie. It has the cheerleader aspect, but with zombies not vampires. While it is a horror game it is full of funny dialogue. Thanks to YouTuber “gamespot” for the trailer below.

Monsuno Entering the Anime and Trading Card Arena
Nicktoons will be debuting Monsuno on February 23. So tell you anime and gaming fans in the library to check their local listings for the time. If you remember the reason gamers will be interested is because it will be supported by a CCG that Topps Cards will be distributing so the gamers will want to check out their local card show and the cards will more than likely be in department stores as well.

For gamers in the Atlanta, Georgia area get ready to duel. The Yu-Gi-Oh Championship Series is coming to your area for it’s first tournament of 2012, February 18-19. It will be held at the Georgia International Convention Center.
