CW’s Arrow
The CW has announced that it will be airing Arrow, based on DC Comic’s Green Arrow, on Wednesday’s at 8:00 p.m. Eastern and 7:00 p.m. Central for the new Fall season. Warner Home Video has scheduled the release of Green Lantern: The Animated Series-Rise of the Red Lanters, Season 1, Volume 1, for August 28th. Let your purchasing agents know so they can have a copy for your library on order for your animation collections.

In Dynamite Entertainment’s first issue of Pathfinder there will be an RPG map for gamers that are playing the Pathfinder Role Playing Game. Your library might not be interested in purchasing this one issue, unless it has a gaming club. However, you will want to tell your gamers that are into RPG’s they might want to pick this up for the map insert.

Adaptation of a Light Novel in Japan

009 Re:Cyborg is a title you might want to mention to your library’s purchasing agent to put on their list to purchase for you anime collections. This is an adaptation of Shotaro Ishinomori’s Science Fiction manga 009 Cyborg which was also made into a anime series. This title is an animated movie by Production I.G. and SANZIGEN Animation Studios and will be distributed by T-Joy in Japan in October. Will CW be Green with Envy
It has been announced that the DC adaptation of Green Arrow into a television series has made it to the schedule for the CW channel. The hopes is that this will be another Smallville for them. It will star Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow and Katie Cassidy as Dinah Lance/Black Canary. As long as it’s good I’ll be watching.
