We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.
The latest in the Batman animated films is Batman Ninja. This story takes our Bat Family back in time to a historic Japan. I have to admit it is cool to see different designs for the Bat Costumes and this one is one of my favorites with Logan and I being fans of Anime. Looks very cool. Vess is a new artist on the scene for everyone to experience. He is sharing with our listeners take a listen to his debut single “Never Leave You Alone” from his forthcoming album Shadows. Vess uses sounds that are reminiscent of the late ’80’s early ’90’s with his use of electronic media and the way his voice comes through the single. This gives the single a very atmospheric feel. Konami has given an update for the upcoming August Yu-Gi-Oh Mega Tins. They are giving everyone a heads up of some of the cards that will be randomly in packs. These cards are: Barreload Dragon; Dragonic Diagram; Evenly Matched; and Saryuja Skull Dread. They have also given us the names of the Jaden and Yusei cards. Jaden’s will be Elemental HERO Nebula Neos and Yusei’s will be Junk Speeder. So keep an eye out for these mega tins come August.
Sarah Sharp is sharing with our listeners her music video for the single “Just Go”. With this single Sarah takes the listener back to old school in a classic blues tune. With just her voice and an acoustical backing Sarah delivers a great sound. The video that goes with the single is very elegant just like the single. Kin looks like it might be a fun movie. What could go wrong with appropriated alien tech. By the trailer it looks like there will be a connection between the young man and the aliens, but I’ve been know to be wrong. Thanks to MovieClips Trailers for the following trailer:
Kaiba Corporation is wanting you to look good as you duel so they want you to use their Kaiba Corporation Card Sleeves and Deck Case. These will be available at your favorite gaming stores September 28. Very cool designs that Konami is offering for players. The deck case will actually be slimmer that previous deck case and will have a divider as well. So look styling like Kaiba with these new accessories for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG.
Who isn’t excited about this weekend? Avengers: Infinity War will take the box office by storm and I know we’ll be there in some form or fashion this weekend. Can’t see it opening day because of scheduling, but we will see it before the weekend is up. Get your day going with the energy of The DTEASE. In their single “Slapshot” this group has pure energy that you associate with your Rock/Alt Rock bands. The single gets your blood to pumping from the start and doesn’t let you go until the single is over. The music video itself is a performance type video, but with the intensity of the music the director translated that into the imagery of the music video. This Saturday and Sunday the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series will be held at the Memphis Cook Convention Center. If you want to participate you can pre-register today from 3 – 7 pm and then tomorrow morning from 8 – 9:45 am. The winner will receive an Ultra Rare Number 89 Diablosis The Mind Hacker and paid travel and accommodations to their World Championship Qualifier.
