Flower Gundam
Something you wouldn’t normally see, but is really cool. For the “29th National Urban Greenery Fair Tokyo” a life-size topiary bust of a Gundam was made. It is on display at the Diver City Tokyo Plaza next to the life-size Gundam statue. The display will be their from September 29 through October 28. So if you are in the area be sure to check it out. New Vanguard
This is for all your library’s Trading Card Gamers. Bushiroad will be releasing more Cardfight! Vanguard cards in January and February 2013. In January a new booster set, entitled Awakening of Twin Blades, will be released and then in February to trail decks will be released entitled Golden Mechanical Soldier and Maiden Princess of the Cherry Blossoms. You will want to pass this along to your TCG fans.

The visit was done through Skype and with us being in Kansas and Chris in New Zealand we had a few fades, but I believe everyone will be able to understand what was said. Paizo Publishing has released titles of forth coming books for their Pathfinder Role-Playing Game. So if your library purchases gaming books for your patrons you will want to put them on your “to order list”. The first few books are game play books: Shatter Star Adventure Path Pawn Collection and Pathfinder Flip-Mat Battlefield. The other three books are more reference/game play books type books: Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Fey Revisited; Patherfinder Player Companion: Kobolds of Golarion; and Pathfinder Adventure Path: The Shackled Hut.

Free Mobile Game in Development
This story is one you will want to pass along to your gaming patrons. CyberConnect2 is developing a “.hack concept” mobile role playing game, called Guilty Dragon. It will be available in Japan for the Android and iOS devices. After the Japanese release the company is planning on a European and Amercian release. No specific dates are given for any of the releases. So have you gamers keep an eye out for this game.

The new exhibit, in Wichita, Kansas’ Exploration Place, is going to be entitled “Videotopia”. This collection is a traveling exhibit that gives the history of the video game and has several video games on display that any gamer will know and recognize. Even those that aren’t hard core gamers will recognize games from their past. The exhibit will open, this Saturday, September 29 and run through January 1, 2013. So start making your plans to attend!
