Atomic Raygun Comics does it Again!
Atomic Raygun Comics contributes another work of art for the Coffeyville Community College. Matt Upson (Writer), C. Michael Hal (Artist) and Dustin Evans (Colorist) have produced another comic book that helps libraries inform students about their college library. This time they have created a ghost cowboy themed work entitled Showdown at the Library: How to Use Your Coffeyville Community College Library. Thanks to Matt for alerting us again about the continuing work these three gentlemen are contributing for the library field. AMV Spotlight of the Week
The AMV Spotlight this time is on YouTuber “HeardYouLikeAmvs3”. This individual has taken the song “Brightly Wound” preformed by Eisley and edited in scenes from the anime Kamichu. The editing is flawless and flows nicely. The song is has a nice light feel to it and it fits the anime scenes perfectly. Great job! Check it out on YouTube under “Amv – Sunshine” or below:
Grimm Latest TV Tie-In to Comics
Dynamite Entertainment has licensed Grimm, the NBC television series. Starting in 2013 Dynamite will begin publishing comic books and graphic novels based on the series. This would be a great cross promotional for your library’s Television Series collection and Graphic Novel collection.
Gatchaman Live Action Movie
There is plans for a Summer 2013 release for a live action film of Gatchaman. It is being produced by Nikkatsu and distributed by TOHO. Toya Sato is slated as the director and the Science Ninja Team Gatchaman cast are: Tori Matsuzaka (Ken); Go Tyano (Jo); Ayame Goriki (Jun); Tatsuomi Hamada (Jinpei) and Ryohei Suzuki (Ryu). This will be an adaption of the classic anime.
