As Promised Samantha Aurelio’s “Sleep in Pieces”

A couple of days ago you will remember me posting Samantha Aurelio’s single “Learn the Hard Way” as a primer for her new releases come November 22, “Sleep in Pieces”. We’ll as Samantha promised the single was released on the 22 and you can go check it out through your digital vendor or through us here. “Sleep in Pieces”

I’m loving Samantha’s lower alto register, it provides a very smooth quality for her singles. The rhythm of “Sleep in Pieces” is nice and strong, but the lyrics themselves are melancholy. All around a well put together song that will capture a persons interest and have them singing along.

So without further ado here is Samantha Aurelio’s “Sleep in Pieces” through Spotify – Richard:

Duel Overload is coming to Yu-Gi-Oh TCG

Konami and Hill and Knowlton Strategies is giving our listeners an earlier glance at what is coming to the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG. The new set is Duel Overload and it’s expected release date will be March 20.

Beyond the unprecedented arsenal of Link Monsters, you’ll also find new cards for fans of the Yu-Gi-Oh! movies: Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions and Yu-Gi-Oh! Bonds Beyond Time! New cards for Paradox’s Malefic strategy and Aigami’s Cubic Deck make their debut in Duel Overload, so Duelists who started building their Cubic Deck through Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions: Movie Pack Secret Edition will have plenty to look forward to.

In addition to the 56 total new cards, the Duel Overload set has 44 returning cards from previous sets as well, bringing the total set size to 100 cards. These cards have been chosen to help Duelists to bolster their existing Decks or build new Decks that they might be missing a critical piece of. For example, Duelists interested in building Cyberse Decks like Marincess from Rising Rampage and Chaos Impact, Mathmech from Mystic Fighters, or @Ignister from Ignition Assault, can find the all-purpose wildcard, Cynet Mining.

Each Duel Overload box comes with:

6 Duel Overload booster packs, each with 5 Ultra Rare cards per pack

1 of 6 special oversized collectible cards

The complete Duel Overload booster set contains 100 cards

Harley Quinn Animated Series Trailer

Okay you have been warned this trailer contains violence and adult language. So don’t watch it if that type of thing bothers you. That being said this trailer is hilarious and I wish we had the DC Universe app to watch the upcoming Harley Quinn animated series along with all the other shows we would love to see. Logan and I will have to watch this when it comes out on Blu-ray/DVD. Cannot wait, looks like so much fun! Check out the trailer through IGN’s YouTube channel – Richard:

Code 8 Trailer

This looks to be an interesting twist on the superhero genre. Code 8 kind of reminds me of what might take place in the X-Men universe, people with super powers are seen to be a threat and therefore must be held in check. This movie looks to be a superhero story wrapped in a heist story, for an interesting spin. This is due out in December. Here’s the trailer from Vertical Entertainment US YouTube channel:

Pokemon Sword and Shield for the Switch

Are you ready for the new Pokemon theme “Sword and Shield”? It’s hitting this week for the Nintendo Switch. Travel to the Galar Region to meet three new partners you can choose: Grookey; Scorbunny; and Sobble. So which edition will you choose, Zacian or Zamazenta or will you pick up both editions? The commercial that the Pokemon Company made for the new theme is a nice nostalgia piece all on it’s own. As they say you “Gotta Catch Them All!”

Moonray is “No Stranger to Love”

Moonray is a duo that plays in the techno pop genre with their single “No Stranger to Love”. It’s a fun throwback to the 1970’s and 1980’s. The rhythm is easy to get into and the lyrics are clear so even after just a listen or two you will be able to sing along the Jonray and Barbara Higginbotham. This single is being released to get everyone ready for them upcoming Digital Moon LP (no exact release date at this time). So if you enjoy Moonray’s “No Stranger to Love” keep an eye on your digital vendors of choice for their album. Until then ComicPop listeners can enjoy the single here through the duo’s SoundCloud account – Richard:
