We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.
If you remember a few months back I we had a story about the Veronica Mars televisions series starting a Kickstarter to make a movie. Well the funds were raised and Warner Bros. released a trailer at Comic-Con this past weekend. The movie is currently being filmed. No word if it is a theatrical or tv movie or straight to DVD, we’ll have to wait and see on that front, but until then have fun watching the video below from “veronicamarsmovie’ channel on YouTube:
Schick is teaming up with the Evangelion movies to give away 10,000 Hydro 5 Razors. The winners will be randomly drawn today through July 29. The event is being called “1-Man-Nin Sokai Sakusen” (Operation: Refresh 10,000). A commercial was even made for it featuring Gendo and Kaji, from Evangelion. Check it out below. Our friends at SofaWolf Press have started a KickStarter for an omnibus edition of Ursula Vernon’s 2012 Hugo Award winning Digger. The omnibus will contain all material from the six print editions plus extra content. As always there are levels of contributions so you can choose the level that works well with your budget and help SofaWolf Press with this endeavor. This is one of those were you just scratch your head. It looks interesting, but I don’t know. Hyundai has developed this vehicle (E4U) as something to show the public of what pedestrian travel could be in the future. I look at it and the first thing that pops into my head is what about when you have to go over a pothole? Would it face plant the driver?
