How would you like one of these for your robot collection? This life size Kuratas, from the Patlabor show was at the Tokyo Toy Show. The machines are built by Suidobashi Heavy Industry and will only set you back 1.3 million. But when they do take the time to build one to sell they sell out quickly. We have already shared Ultra Violent Ray’s single “Wish” with you. Now they are sharing their music video for “Wish”. If you are into the Pop Art style this video is made for you. Even if you aren’t the video is just fun to watch. So enjoy Ultra Violent Ray’s “Wish” music video through their YouTube channel. “Interpersonal Ethic” gives the listen a song that they will enjoy, but on a different level. I like my songs to make you want to get up and move your body. BZRK’s latest doesn’t really do that. “Interpersonal Ethic” has a good beat and the rapping is done well, however this song is one where the listener will want to listen to for a journey more than lets get up and grove to it. I believe that is what BZRK was going for, to make the listener stop and think about the lyrics as well as the beat. Anyway check it out through Jeffery Drag YouTube channel:
Ghost Loft is delivering his debut EP Chocolate Haze. Ghost Loft has a good clear voice. The beats of each song are clean and simple, which is nice to take a break from all of the loud in your face music. What is nice is you can enjoy both and I enjoyed Ghost Loft. STASH hits the scene with their elctropop dance single “Strip Me Bare”. With this single Amanda Maze brings the listener in with her pop sound and then Steph Prost hits you with her rapping. This is a very nice blend that we have seen others do with the pop and rap mixture and it fits this single well. The music and video that goes with it gives you a 1990’s dance club feel. Melissa of City Bird Publicity and Tom Levin are sharing with us his latest single we spot lighted earlier this month, but this time it is Tom’s music video for “Thunder On”. I haven’t changed my mind about this single, still like it and I believe most people that enjoy folk music styling will. The music video is just as engaging. Amanda of BlackPanda PR and Ghost Loft are sharing with us Ghost Loft’s latest music video for their single “The Otherside”. “The Otherside” is from Ghost Loft’s upcoming EP Chocolate Haze so keep an eye on iTunes to see when it drops. The single itself isn’t one that you would grab and have a party with. Instead “The Otherside” has a serene feel to it. More of a mood piece where one will stop and contemplate things. Doug Locke is here and ready to take everyone down his musical journey. I have listened to a couple of Doug’s singles know and he has a nice strong clear voice that is easy to listen to. The two songs I have listened to are “This Could Be Us” and “KING” and the rhythm in each has an awesome beat.
