Folk Pop Duo Next Stop Horizon is Sharing Two of Their Music Videos with Us

musenext stop horizon

Next Stop Horizon is a Sweish indie folk/pop duo.  The are sharing with the ComicPop listeners, not one but two of their music videos.  The first one fits our site to a “T” with “Rain on Me”.  The single is very upbeat and catchy, but it’s the music video that hits my sweet spot.  It has spots throughout it of a couple of children dressed up in superhero outfits with capes and all.  You gotta love that!  With their second music video for their single “We’ll Whistle So” slows it down.  With this single they want to draw the listener in through the lyrics and music, plus the variety of instruments in this single is great.  If you live in or plan to attend SXSW the duo is a confirmed performance so check when and where they will be playing and enjoy their music.  Also I have to say I love their picture that we use above.  So thank you to Next Stop Horizon for sharing the music videos for “Rain on Me” and “We’ll Whistle So” through the “tapeterecords” YouTube channel – Richard:

Jumpcuts’ latest Music Video for “Everything We Are” Single

museJumpcuts_A_Shot.jpg

Jumpcuts is sharing with ComicPop Library their latest music video for “Everything We Are”, off their album Fiber Optic Bondage.  The single itself is a slow techno sound with lyrics that they want you to listen to for the meaning.  This isn’t one that will make you get up and dance, but one to contemplate.  The music video helps with it’s imagery.  It shows the founder of the band and pieces of his Kenner Vintage Star Wars toy collection.  Basically, what I got out of it is for the listen to remember “Everything We Are” is by what we surround ourselves with.  You can have your collections, but don’t forget about the family, friends, and people in your life that make up who you are.  Its not only about the collection.  You might get something else, who knows.  If nothing else enjoy the vintage toys.  Thanks to Jumpcuts for sharing their music video for “Everything We Are” through their YouTube channel and keep an eye on iTunes for their album in March – Richard:

20th Anniversary for Pokemon

pokemon1

ICv2 is reporting that the Pokemon Company has purchased air time for a Pokemon commercial during Super Bowl 50.  This ad will kickoff the 20th Anniversary for Pokemon.  The Official Pokemon Channel on YouTube has begun streaming the below add, but it is unclear if the same ad will be the one airing during Super Bowl 50, I kind of think they would have a different one for that after spending that much money for air time.  The company is also declaring February 27th as Pokemon Day with several things happening.  Here is the link to ICv2 for more details: http://icv2.com/articles/news/view/33466/super-bowl-50-spot-kicks-off-pokemon-20th  Keep your eyes sharp and ears tuned in for special events during this year.  So to Pokemon fans and the Pokemon Company happy 20th Anniversary!

DeModa’s Music Video for “The Future Perfect” Single

museDeModa_Shot_1.jpg

DeModa is sharing with us his music video for his single “The Future Perfect” (featuring Rob Carroll), with the ComicPop Library listeners.  The single is a nice clean light rock love song with a mixture of techno.  This techno feel gives it a ethereal quality.  The softer voice goes smoothly with the music and doesn’t get overpowered by them.  The video pretty much reflects the song.  It is a nice clean video as well.  Take a break and listen and watch “The Future Perfect” by DeModa, from his YouTube channel, for a nice soothing experience with love – Richard:

Ryan Stevenson’s Latest Music Video “Hey Baby”

ryan

Ryan Stevenson and Raphael Di Raddo Productions are sharing his latest single and music video for “Hey Baby” with ComicPop LIbrary.  With “Hey Baby” it started out with a great beat and turned into a fun song that one could sing to and get into real easily.  The style of the single has definite Rock influences, but it is also infused with some Pop aspects.  Really catchy and easy to get into.  The music video is do very well.  The imagery is very clean and crisp and has a nice storyline to it.  So it shifts between the storyline and Ryan, but these shifts aren’t jarring.  How they filmed Ryan was complimentary to the actors in the storyline portions of the music video.  So check out Ryan Stevenson’s “Hey Baby” music video from his YouTube channel and be sure to visit his iTunes page for other music by Ryan – Richard:

The Classic Kids have “Just Begun”

blackpandaPRclaasic kids1

I love this single!  I have unashamedly said over and over that I enjoy the boy band and girl bands.  I like to have fun with my music and The Classic Kids harken back to this sound.  Classic Kids is sharing their music video “Just Begun” with the ComicPop Library listeners, the single comes from their Forever Strong EP.  These guys still want to have fun with their music and I can appreciate that.  Just because you grow older doesn’t mean you have to become oh so serious.  “Just Begun” has a great infectious beat and the lyrics are fun and give a positive outlook.   Their EP Forever Strong will be released on January 16 so be sure to look for it on your favorite digital music vendors.  Check out the music video for “Just Begun” by The Classic Kids they are sharing through their YouTube channel, to lighten up and have some fun – Richard:
