CeaseTone Looks to “The Bright Side”

CeaseTone is making their US debut at SXSW. This Icelandic duo is sharing with our listeners their single “The Bright Side” music video. Even though the single is title “The Bright Side” the single has a darker tone to it. When listening to it I really felt a Gothic dark resonance from “The Bright Side”. The music video is one I enjoy because of the stop motion animation, but with others it will just depend on what you like. Young Avz Sings About “This Love”

OWL releases Their Music Video for “Witch’s Familiar”

OWL is graciously sharing their new music video, for their single “Witch’s Familiar”. The band is fronted by Chris Wyse, whom many will remember as the bassist for Ace Frehley and The Cult. Chris is joined by Jason Achilles Mezilis on guitar and vocals and Dan Dinsmore on drums. With “Witch’s Familiar” OWL gives the listener and viewer a darker experience that touches on Psychedelic. The music video matches the tone of the single. This one will make you pause to listen and if you are into the darker gothic type of music “Witch’s Familiar” will resonate with you. The Score is Scoring

It’s been a good year for The Score. They have released a new single entitled “On and On” via Republic Records, which they are sharing with our listeners. “On and On” is being featured in HBO’s current branding campaign. Their music has also been featured in Sprint commercials, NBC’s Biggest Loser and in the feature film Alvin & the Chipmunks: Road Chip. Congratulations to The Score in all of their success and I’m sure more to come. The band is going to be in Austin this year as well for SXSW. Blancos’ Music Video for “BKCBD”

The Blancos are making their EP debut with Broken Kids. They are sharing with ComicPop their music video for the single “BKCBD” from the EP. This single is one that will surprise people. Parents will probably here the lyrics and go crazy because of the mature content. However, this single has a beautiful rhythm and the lyrics even though rough are telling a powerful story, because their are probably several kids that think this and many more that are living it (“BKCBD”/ Broken Kids Chasing Broken Dreams). The music video has a very cinematic feel to it and gives additional weight to the single. The Blancos are going to be at SXSW so if you are there during their session stop in to check them out. Brooke Forman’s Music Video for “Lioness”

Brooke Forman gives us “Lioness”. With “Lioness” their is a nice steady beat that is the structure of the single, it’s not fast but it’s not slow either. Then with the other instruments and how they are being played and with Brooke’s voice (her voice has a lilt to it that I can’t place) gives this song a little bit of an international flare.
